The Lord doesn’t expect us to do everything, but He does expect us to do something.
He expects us to be more alert to the opportunities around us to pray, live and witness for Christ.

Prayer - vv 1-3
An influence on our society
Synonyms - request, prayer, intersession, thanksgiving
The best thing for our world is to PRAY!
Pray for everyone (ALL); pray for government leaders
Pray for those you meet and interact with
Elsewhere the Bible says - pray without ceasing
Not only does it impact those we pray for but prayer impacts us as we deepen our relationship with God
Goal: peaceful/quiet in godliness/holiness

Mediator vv 4-5
God desires all to be saved
One God / One Mediator - Jesus
The “Link” between God & Man
Jesus is making intercession for us - we don’t have to be an Elijah calling out to God

Ransom vv 6-7
Available to all - Jew & Gentile - no matter the background or past history
At the heart of the gospel is the ransom Jesus paid on the cross

First of “all” - prayer for all (everyone)
