Angels.
All right, we have the the reading this morning.
It's taken from Exodus chapter 2 verses 7 to 10.
The sermon.
This morning is the Willing Helper and it's something I'll look at Joseph's life and it's a call to each and everyone of us to be helpers.
Well, throughout the Bible, we see helpers and they come in many different forms.
And is this case?
It's the sister of Moses.
So let's let's read on his sister.
Moses's.
Sister asked Pharaoh's daughter and I shall I go get to one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you.
Yes, go, she answered.
And so the girl went and took the baby's mother Pharaoh's daughter said to her, take this baby and nurse him for me and I will pay you.
And so the woman took the baby and nursed him when the child Grew Older, she took him into took him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son.
She named him, Moses saying, I drew him out of the water.
And we serve God and many different ways.
Ed will look at a few today and hopefully encourage each of you that service to him is is a blessing for our lives.
Alright a few prayer requests.
We have a lot of people on vacation and we need to pray for them.
But one prays that we have is Leona.
Our dear Leona is here today, and that's incredible, answer to prayer.
So praise the Lord for that tornado.
Victims, of course in Kentucky and Missouri, a real disaster fell and we need to pray for their recovery of their morning.
Karen Lanier goes in for surgery tomorrow replacement for her knee.
So we need to be in prayer for her and Michael McCaskey, McCaffrey.
He is in Eugene hospital with covid, real struggle there.
So we need to be in prayer for them.
So, let's go to prayer.
Precious father, Mighty and true and holy, are you for?
You are our King, our guide and our strength than we.
Thank you.
And praise you.
That you love us dearly and desire to hear from us and bother.
You do answer each and every prayer that is made help us to trust that your answer is the very best dancer.
Lord of the burden of our hearts in the desire, is that the people of our community that do not know you as Lord and Savior would come to that point of recognizing the Deep need of their heart.
And thinking this way, we also need to remember that you have commissioned each and every one of us who have trusted in Christ to be a witness.
Of who you are to us.
That we might share in.
That didn't help those of our community who don't know.
You to come to know you and change the direction of their eternity and father, we pray for their loss.
We also recognize the struggles of life in the difficulties that we faced with the, the things that come our way again.
We want to remember the people, lucky and Missouri, who have gone through these, this terrible tornado experience.
We know that many were lost.
And so we pray for those who mourn that you would that be there to comfort and draw people to yourself.
We also pray for those in Murray that you would heal and restore what was lost with, pray for your strength.
And all of this.
We want to remember Karen as she goes into surgery tomorrow.
I know that she was a bit nervous about this one, but we pray that you would be with her, to lift her up and we pray for your healing touch on her life and that she would find recovery quick and easy that flexibility to return.
We also think of Michael is he is has struggled with health issues, and we know that this is a difficult one.
We pray for your touch on his body and you're restoring power to bring him back to full health.
Father, we also recognize that there are a lot of people in our community that are struggling right now.
I know of a mint on in of Johnson and Ellen.
And there are certain others in our community right now, who were
Struggling with the restoration from health issues.
We are in the flu season in this.
Is it very common?
This time of year?
We also want to remember those who are away from us today and will be returning to our community shortly, and we pray for your hand of Guiding Light, to bring them safely home from that Journey.
Father, you are our strength in every way.
I know that there are unspoken request that are out there that haven't been mentioned when we pray for each of those requests that you would meet the need.
And the people would see your Mighty hand moving in their lives and helping to encourage them in their walk.
With you.
May, you guide and bless.
And now, as we continue in the service, we do, pray for your Mighty hand to guide us and throw us close to you as we praises to your name and listen to the power of your word working.
In each of our hearts.
Lester.
So Lord in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
Yeah, it's it's a great opportunity for us as we have to sing praises to the Living God and I know that sometimes it's tough to waste these things.
This is not normal for me to be the one to stand up and Lead You In These, but it's an opportunity for us to recognize God and his mighty work that happened two thousand years ago that continues to lead each of our lives.
So we're going to be singing number 182 and It Came Upon a Midnight Clear.
Gloria song.
Call work.
And you live.
A big wave with me.
Do we read and hear the angels?
Morelos.
Where and what time?
Randolph.
Red nose.
Thank you, dear.
Alright, pig is super charge time.
Yeah.
Alright, well, let's start with weird.
Father in Heaven, how we thank you that you are here in our midst.
We know that you are here because you are with each and every person who is called upon you to be their lord and savior you dwell in each of our hearts and you guide our thoughts and actions.
And so we thank you for your spirit who does guide and Lead our loss.
And we pray that you would be touching each of our hearts.
That as we look at your word and grow in understanding of it, that we would take that the heart and apply it to our lives that we can draw near to you.
father, we pray that your spirit would touch me because you alone are the power in the strain and you're the one that guides and wisdom and understanding.
So may everything that you have laid upon my heart and that you guide me to speak, the day would come forth with power and strength from you.
Oh mighty God, in Jesus name, we ask these things.
Amen.
Well, we are working through a series and taking a look at the steps that we see people take in life when God calls them.
And one of the things that each of us needs to understand and know is that if you have asked Jesus Christ to be your lord and savior, your life is been changed.
You are new and renewed in him and you didn't do anything for it.
God gave it to you because of his grace and mercy in his life, but that doesn't leave you to just say, okay.
Well I did that and I'm good for the rest of my life know God has called each and every one of us to be involved in life for him in this world.
You're still here because he wants to use you for the kingdom of God and we all I'll become helpers in this way.
Sometimes.
