The life of faith is a life of following the leading of the Holy Spirit into understanding that leads to righteousness, which encompasses all of life. He leads us by an inner voice or impression, an outer or auditory voice, and opened and closed doors. He is our Helper and Counselor and the two-fold purpose of his leading is justification and sanctification. He is an agent of God's providential will.
