We’re going to *continue* on the *book of Galatians*, so let’s pick up right where we left off.
*I) *Turn with me to *GAL 5:6*
*A) **Circumcision* *is done on the outward man*, *but* *faith* *is an action that takes place on the inner man*.
*1) **Men always look to the outward*, *and so many times* *they are wrong* *or* *deceived* *by what they see*.
*(a) **For the last few weeks* *I’ve been teaching on that exact thing*.
*(b) **Sometimes* *we see someone* *and* *think* that *they are in pride*, *but* *in actuality* *they are just confident* *in* the things of *God*.
*(i) **On the other hand* *someone may seem* to be *humble*, *but* in *their heart* they are *lifted up in pride*.
*(ii) **Sometimes* *there are signs* that *we can see* *on the outside* that will *give* us *an indication* *to what’s in the heart*.
*(iii) **Usually* the *words* that come *out of* their *mouth* will *give them away*.
*(a) **But* *those* that have been *in Word Churches* for a while *learn* *what to say* *and* *what not to say*, *but* *Jesus told us* in (*Matthew 12:34*) “*Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh*.”

*(b) **When someone is confronted* *with* a *negative report*, *correction*, *or* *something done wrong to them*, *usually* *their words will then show where they are spiritually*.
*(c) **But* *it’s not for us to judge that person*.
*None of us are perfect*.
*We’ve all missed it*.
The best thing to do is *pray for them*.
*(c) **But* *God sees the heart*.
*B) *Back in (*GAL 5:6*) *Paul says* *the thing that does matter* *or* *have value* to it *is FAITH*.
*1) *(*Hebrews 11:6*) *Says* “*But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him*.”

*(a) **We can’t even please God without faith*, *but* *to take it even 1 step further*, *we can’t even receive from God without faith*.
*(i) *(*HEB 6:12*) *tells us* that it’s “*Through faith and patience that we’ll inherit the promises of God*.”
*(ii) **Even when we come to Church* *we want to see the move of the Spirit of God* *and* *the Glory of God*; *we want to see people healed and set free*, *but it’s not going to come unless we are believing God for it to happen*.
*That means expect God to move*.
*2) **Can I meddle a little more?* *Sometimes people will get an idea* *that the Church should be doing something different*, that we should be *doing this or that*.
*(a) **I’m always open to suggestions*, *but I have to hear from God* *before I can implement them*.
*(i) **Even if you know that you heard from God*, *the timing may not be right*.
*(ii) **Pray for me*.
*As* the *pastor of this church* *it’s God’s responsibility to show me what He wants*.
*(b) **If I put anything into operation* *without having God’s Word on it* *then it’s a work of the flesh* *with no value to it*.
*(i) *Now *if God does speak to me*, *then as I step out on his Word* *in faith* *it will produce fruit*.
*3) **We always want God’s best for our lives*, *but* *in order to have that* *we need to be in divine order*.
*(a) **If you’re working in the church in some area*, *you need to be in submission to the department head*, *the department needs to be in submission to the pastor*, *and the Pastor needs to be in submission to God*.
*(b) **Even in the services*, *Just because you feel that something should be done*, *it might not be for everyone*.
*It might be just for you*.
*4) **If you **feel that there is something** **that we all need to do in the service*, *you need to come to me 1st*.
*(a) **Other wise things can* *and will get out of hand* *and it will lead to confusion*.
*(b) **Let me give you some scripture on that*.
Turn with me to *1COR 14:26-27*
*(i) **From* (*V 27*) *we can see* that *Paul is talking about Prophecy*, *but he’s also talking about more than that*.
*(ii) **Look at* *1COR 14:26* *again*.
{*Revelation*- *that refers to just about anything*.}
*(iii) **In* (*V 27*) *Paul also talks about limitations*.
*In other words*, *it’s not a free for all*.
*(c) *Alright drop down to *1COR 14:32*
*(i) **This V has seemed to confuse many*, *but it simply means* that *the 1 that is in charge of the service* *has the final say so on what is to go forth in the service*.
*(ii) *The *AMP translation* *says* *this (1COR 14:32*) *“For the spirits of the prophets (that’s the 1 the that has a word or a revelation) are under the speaker’s control [and subject to being silenced as may be necessary].”*
*(d) *Look at *1COR 14:33* drop down to *V 40*
*5) **Let me try to some up what I’m trying to say*.
*(a) **If you have a tongue*, *an interruption of that tongue*, *or a prophecy* *from God* *for this body* *and it brings* *edification*, *exhortation*, *or* *comfort* *give it*, *as long as it’s in the right timing*.
Using *proper etiquette*.
*(b) **But* *WHEN IT COMES TO A DOCTRINE*, *A TEACHING*, *WORD OF KNOWLEDGE*, *WORD OF WISDOM*, *PERSONAL PROPHECY* *OR* *SOMETHING THAT YOU FEEL THAT THE WHOLE BODY SHOULD DO*, *you need to come to me silently 1st.*
*(i) **What happens if you can’t get to me?* *Maybe you’re stuck in the middle of an isle*.
*(ii) **If you can’t get to me where you can share it with me one on one* *then you need to keep it to yourself*.
*(iii) **If it is God* *He will provide a way for you to come up to me quietly*.
*(c) **I’m I trying to stop the move of God?* *No not at all*, *but* *I’m trying to stop the flesh from moving* *or* *things that God is speaking to you personally*, *and only have the true move of the Spirit of God in the Church*.
*II) **Paul said* *in* (*GAL 5:6*) *that the things of the flesh* “*Availeth nothing*,” *but what does* *avail is faith*.
*A) *The word “*AVAIL*” *means*, “*To have power*.”
*And faith is only based on the Word of God*.
*1) **As we put God’s Word to practice*, (*in reference to* what we just read in *1COR 14*) *and* *we put faith in His Word*, *we’re going to see less of the flesh* *and more of the Power of God*.
*(a) **Next week* *we’ll get more into the last ½* *of this V* *which says*, “*Faith which worketh by love*.”
