With *this message* I have I just *felt* that the *Lord wanted me to give* a *shot gun message*.
*What I mean* by shot gun is that I'm *going to hit a whole lot of areas*.
Things that we're *going to ministry on*, are *things* that we've *already ministered on*; it's *not* the *time* to *go on to new things*.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished /my/ course, I have kept the faith:  8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.[1]”

*1st* of all or I could say, *point **#1*, turn with me to *HEB 2:1*
              *A*.
*Take heed to* the *things* that we have *already heard*.
*Take heed* to the *Word* that *goes forth today*.
*B*.
*2PET 1:12-15*
                        *1*.
It’s *important* that *you* are *established* in *these truths*; *if* you are *already established* in these truths then you *should be stirred up.*
                        *2*.
You *need* to *stay in remembrance* of the *things* that you have *already learned*, *so that* you will *not let them slip*.
*a*.
*Keep yourself in remembrance*, *not waiting* for the *Pastor to preach* a message on the subject, but *meditate on the things* that you have *already learned*.
*II*.
*Point #2 Renew your mind*.
*A*.
*ROM 8:6-7*
                        *1*.
In (*V 6*) it tells us that the *CARNAL* mind or the *unrenewed* mind *is DEATH*.
*2*.
In (*V 7*) It says that the *unrenewed mind* is at *ENMITY with GOD*.
*a*.
The word "*Enmity*" means "*Hostility, opposition, hatred*."
*i*.
So this *V* is *saying* that the *unrenewed mind is in opposition & Hostile to God*.
                                           *ii*.
You *can't continue to serve the Lord* *when* your *mind is unrenewed* *or* when it *becomes unrenewed*.

In the book of *TITUS* it tells us that the *unrenewed mind is defiled*.
*B*.
But in (*ROM 8:6*) it tells us that the *renewed mind produces life & peace*.
*1*.
(*2TIM 1:7*) Tells us that the *mind* that is *renewed* *on the Word* of God *is a SOUND mind*.
*C*.
*ROM 12:2*
                        *1*.
The *Bible tells* us that *when* we get our *mind renewed* *to the Word* of God, *we can know the will of God* for our lives.
*2*.
Look with me to *EPH 4:22-23*
                                  *a*.
*When* your *mind* is *renewed* to the Word *you'll* *begin to change*.
*b*.
Your *life style* will *begin* to *change*.
*c*.
(*COL** 3:10*) Says, *“Put on the new {man}.”*

*2COR 10:4-5*
                        *1*.
*When* our *mind* get *renewed* with the Word of God, our *thought* *life* will *no longer* be the *same*; *we'll cast down* those *imaginations*, *and* we'll *bring* every *thought* *into captivity* to the *obedience* of *Christ*.

That even puts me at my *3rd point*.

Go back to *ROM 12:1*
                        *1*.
In this *V* he is saying that *we are to **live a holy life*.

But *did you notice* that he said *that* this *is our reasonable service*.

*This is what God expect* of us *& it's reasonable*.

In (*1PET 1:16*) the Lord says, *“Be ye holy; for I am holy.”*
*IV*.
*Point #4** **2COR 5:7*
              *A*.
(*HEB 10:38*) Says, *“Now the just shall live by faith: but if {any man} draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.”*

Look down just a few more *Vs* to *HEB 11:1*
                        *1*.
This *V* *gives* us the *definition of faith*.
*2*.
*1ST* it *says* that *faith is* *“The substance of things hoped for.”*

*Faith* will *give substance to* those *things* that you have been *hoping for*.

Or you *could say it this way*, “*Faith will bring the manifestation to those thing you have been hoping for*.”

In the *2ND* part of that *V* it says, *“That Faith is the evidence of things not seen.”*

*Faith is* the *evidence or proof* that the *things* you've been *hoping for are yours*.

Turn to *MARK** 11:22*
                        *1*.
According to the *Worrell and Young’s translation* this *V* would be better read *“Have the God kind of Faith.”*

(*ROM 12:3*) Says, *“God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”*

*That's where* our *faith comes from*.

*MARK 11:23-24*

In (*V 24*) He says *concerning our desired* that *we have to believe that you receive* them, *then you will have them*.

You have to *believe that you receive it 1st* *then you'll see it*.

I like to put it this way that *Faith comes by hearing & hearing, & hearing & hearing*.

The *more you hear the Word* of God the *more you're going to be able to stand in faith*, & the *stronger* that *faith will get*.

*Unfortunately*, it’s *possible* for a *person* to *have faith* today to believe God for something, *but tomorrow lack the faith* that is needed for the same thing.

For *Point #5* lets look at *MARK 11:23* again.

Can you *see* *what Jesus is saying* in this V?

*Notice* *how many times* that He's *telling us* to *say something*.

Jesus is telling us to *speak to the mountain* in our lives; *speak to the problem** **in our lives*.
