I *can’t tell you* what *God* *wants* *you to do* on an *individual basis*.
*You* have to *find out* what *God wants* you to do and the *only way* to *get that revelation* is to *spend time* in *His presence*.

**This scripture* is *so true*, *we need* to have a */purpose/*, a */plan/*, a */vision/*, or a */goal/*.
*1.
**If* we *don’t* the *Bible says* that we are *going to perish*.
*a.
*So we *need to have* that *vision*,
                                  *b.
*But you know *what’s better than* having *your own vision*?
*Having God’s vision* for your life.

**/2PET 1:10/*

**God* has *called* all of *us* */1st/* *out of darkness* into His light.

*But He’s also *given* all of *us* a */personal calling/*.

**Some* are *called* *to be* a */father/* or a */mother/*.

Just don’t get ahead of God.

**Satan will try to stop what God wants you to do*.

**He tries* to *stop* */marriages/* *with **/separation and divorce/*.

*He tries to get */mother’s/* or */father’s/* to */abandon/* or */abuse/* their */children/*.

*He tries to */steel/* */finances/* so that you would */lose/* your */business/*.

*He wants to */stop/* the */ministry/* */of/* */reconciliation/* through */fear/* and */complacency/*.

*And he */doesn’t want you to do/* what */God/* has */told you/* to do.

*The *word* “*/Divination/*” *comes from the Greek word* “*/Puthon/* {poo’-thone},” which is *a snake*.
*One of my Bibles* has a *footnote* that says it is a “*/Python/*.”

*This *evil spirit* is *like a Python*.

*A *python* *will wrap itself around it’s prey*.

**Satan will try to wrap himself around you*, *trying* to *get you* *involved* *in and tangled up in things* that is *not the will of God*.

**He will try* to *get your eyes* o*f*f of what *God wants you to do*, and *it will be a bondage* to you.

**Can you imagine being wrapped in a Python* that is as much as *20 feet long*.

*That’s *real bondage*.

*That *bondage* *might be lust*, *greed* or *other areas of sin*, but it can also be *trying to correct the world’s problems*.

*There is *nothing wrong with doing good*, and we *should do good*, but he *might be* *so caught* up in *salving* the *world’s problems* that you *lose track* of what *God wants* you to do.

*A *Python* will *not only wrap* *itself around* a *person* *but*, it will *also* *squeeze its prey* *until* its *last breath* is *gone* and *finally dies*.

**Satan wants to choke* out *the word* that *God* has *given you* on what to do.

*You need to *keep the vision*, the *goal*, the *plan*, the *work* that *God gave* you *before you*.

*If* you keep it before you*, you *won’t* *get* your *eyes on anything else*.

*Go back to */2PETER 1:10/* */“Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall/*.”

*Look at */1CO 2:9/*

*This *V* it *tells us* that *God* has *prepared* a *direction* *for our lives*.

**God has* a *perfect plan* for us.
*2.
*T */NIV/* translation says, “*/However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him/*.”

*But we *don’t* have to *stop there*.

**/1CO 2:10a/* That tells us that *God* has *revealed* *His will to us*.

*Now you might be thinking, “Well *if God* has *revealed his will* to me, *why don’t I know it*?”
