"So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!”

And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit."

|  (John 4:34, NKJV)"Jesus said, “My food is *to do the will* *of Him* who sent Me, and *to finish His work*."  - *Not a cry of despair* – or *a help martyr*  - or *a expression of satisfaction that his suffering was now reached* !!

It is a victorious cry – a cry Jubilation – the sum of all joy

*The Reconciliation & Restoration* of all those who believes in their heart and do the will of the Father.

(1 Timothy 2:5, NKJV)

"For there is one God and *one Mediator* between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus," – Our Lord Jesus Christ as Mediator has accomplished three main functions.

*As Lord *- He is the Prophet – while at the same time he’s a priestly Prophet and the royal Prophet – The prophet is one who came with a message from God on behalf of man.

*(Hebrews 1:1-2, NKJV) *" God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;" *(See Luke 13:33)* #.

*As Jesus* - He is the High Priest – while at the same time he’s a prophetic Priest and royal Priest – The Priest is one who goes from man to approach God on behalf of man.

*(**Hebrews 9:6-10, NKJV)*" Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services.

But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance;  *(Hebrews 9:11-14, NKJV)*" But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.

Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.

*As Christ*  - He is the King – while at the same time he’s a prophetic King and priestly King.

The Lord Jesus Christ, Himself *(all-in-one)* has finished as The One Mediator.*

Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may also glorify You, even as *You have given Him authority over all flesh,* that to all You have given Him, He may give eternal life.

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."

In the rending of the veil in the Temple, shows proof that the way to God was now open | 2.           In the raising of Christ Jesus from the dead proves that God has accepted his sacrifice.

| 3.           The exaltation of Christ Jesus to set on throne, on the right hand of Father’s demonstrates the value of Christ’s work and how it pleased the Father.

| 4.           The sending to us the Holy Spirit to apply the virtues and benefits of Christ’s atoning.
