(John 19:30, NKJV)

"So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit."

|  (John 4:34, NKJV)"Jesus said, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work."  - Not a cry of despair – or a help martyr  - or a expression of satisfaction that his suffering was now reached !! It is a victorious cry – a cry Jubilation – the sum of all joy

(Hebrews 12:2, NKJV)"Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."  |

“It Is Finished”

(Psalm 98:2, NKJV)"For the Lord has made known His salvation; His righteousness, He has revealed in the sight of all nations."  (Ephesians 1:7-10, NKJV) "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him."

“It Is Finished”

“It Is Finished” - is one word in the original Greek language and can be translated   in various ways:   1.    Matthew 11:1 - “made an end of”2.    Luke 2:39 – “performed all things” 3.    Luke 18:31 – Accomplished4.    “The Price Is Paid”

“It Is Finished”

What is Finished?  The Reconciliation & Restoration of all those who believes in their heart and do the will of the Father. (Isaiah 53:6, NKJV)"All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all."  (Isaiah 59:2, NKJV)"But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear."  (John 14:19-26, NKJV) Jesus Said:"“A little while longer, the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me.  Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you.  He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.”  Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, “Lord, how is it that You will manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?”  Jesus said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. (That’s true reconciliation and restoration)  He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.  “These things I have spoken to you while being present with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you."

| ! “It Is Finished”

(1 Timothy 2:5, NKJV)

"For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus," – Our Lord Jesus Christ as Mediator has accomplished three main functions. #. As Lord - He is the Prophet – while at the same time he’s a priestly Prophet and the royal Prophet – The prophet is one who came with a message from God on behalf of man.

(Hebrews 1:1-2, NKJV) " God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;" (See Luke 13:33) #. As Jesus - He is the High Priest – while at the same time he’s a prophetic Priest and royal Priest – The Priest is one who goes from man to approach God on behalf of man.

(Hebrews 9:6-10, NKJV)" Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance;  (Hebrews 9:11-14, NKJV)" But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. #. As Christ  - He is the King – while at the same time he’s a prophetic King and priestly King.

(Revelation 1:5-6, NKJV)"Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."  (Philippians 2:9-11, NKJV)"Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."  The Lord Jesus Christ, Himself (all-in-one) has finished as The One Mediator. !

“It Is Finished”

(John 17:4, NKJV)"I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do."    (John 17:6, NKJV)" “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word."

“It Is Finished

(John 17:7, NKJV) Prayer"Now they know that all things, that You have given Me are from You."  (John 15:15, NKJV)"No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you."    (Luke 24:44-47, NKJV) After Resurrection “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.”  And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.  Then He said, “Thus it is written, and  it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."  (John 17:8, NKJV) Prayer"For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me."

“It Is Finished”

(John 17:9, NKJV) Prayer"I, therefore, pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours."   (John 17:10, NKJV) Prayer"And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them."

“It Is Finished”                                                    The Final Pray In

(John 6:29, NKJV)"Jesus said, “For this is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”"  (John 17:1-3, NKJV)" Jesus, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said:  “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may also glorify You, even as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that to all You have given Him, He may give eternal life.  And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent."

“It Is Finished”

(John 17:5 NKJV)"Now O Father glorify Me together with Yourself with the glory which I had with You before the world was."  (John 1:1-2 NKJV)" In the beginning was the Word - and the Word was with God - and the Word was God. He was in the beginnng with God.

“Proof that Christ did finish the work”

1.           In the rending of the veil in the Temple, shows proof that the way to God was now open 2.           In the raising of Christ Jesus from the dead proves that God has accepted his sacrifice.
3.           The exaltation of Christ Jesus to set on throne, on the right hand of Father’s demonstrates the value of Christ’s work and how it pleased the Father. 4.           The sending to us the Holy Spirit to apply the virtues and benefits of Christ’s atoning.

Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you."  (1 John 5:4, NKJV)"For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world— even our faith."  (1 John 5:5, NKJV)"Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"  (Revelation 2:7, NKJV)“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”
