In Man is presented with it’s 1st command.
God commanded man to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
This command lead to the first decision on earth.
Man had a choice to make, obey God or disobey God.
This is what makes humankind different from plants and animals.
Humans, created in the image of God, have reasoning and decision making.
With this characteristic Adam had the option to disobey God and give into temptation.
Evil is not of God and not a characteristic of God.
God is fully and completely righteous and holy.
With the ability to make decisions came the reality of evil.
With the option to choose disobedience came the possibility of bringing evil into the world.
With man’s ability to make decisions, they had the option to disobey God which would lead to the introduction of evil into reality.
With obedience to God, righteousness continues and humankind continues as God had set it into motion.
With disobedience brings depravity and corruption into a pure world.
Man had a choice to between good and evil, evil or righteousness.
Man is presented with the first decision in the history of man.

Genesis 3:15In verses 8-13, we see the devastation of this sin.
Evil entered the world and a separation between man and God swept in.
They hid from the Lord.
They hid from what created them, from what formed them, from what made them pure.
They were inhibited in there relationship with christ.
They were sinless and without fault and with this sin, separation entered the world.
They could no longer have a close intimate relationship with God because God is Holy and Just.
