when I was growing up I thought it was walking up to some one and asking them about “there Personal relationship with Jesus Christ”
first of all that’s a church phrase, completely UN church-ed people are not Going to get it.
so many of us have been submerged in “Christian Culture” we don’t understand the foundations of our identity in Christ.
because we are so entrenched in our culture many of us don’t understand we are not trying to be Cultural Christians, rather our aim in this life with Christ is to be disciples.
Before we can make disciples, we have to be disciples.
1 Corinthians 11:1 (NKJV)
11 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ.
we all have fruit of the flesh: none of us is Jesus second cousin.
what do you need to lay aside that you might become more of what Father desires?
we all have to lay aside things and become babes in an area of our lives.
if all you have done is catch the christian culture, you wont be bearing fruit.
your relationship with Christ will be cold.
we know how hard relationships are with the people that we see often and are doing life with, imagine if you practiced all of those relational skills you’ve been learning on Jesus.
when is the Last time you had a Jesus date Night?
to share your faith, its best if its not on life support.
I’d like us to think about evangelism as worship
can we lift Him if we don’t Love Him ?
the reason i say worship evangelism is because our heart for the lost should come out of our heart for Jesus.
