*The Discipleship Process at the PERSONAL Level*

            Daily and Personal

*Mark 9:7* Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: “This is my Son, whom I love.

*Listen to him!**” *(*VP*) En esto, apareció una nube y se posó sobre ellos.

Y de la nube salió una voz, que dijo: “Este es mi Hijo amado: escúchenlo.”

(*RVR*) ….a él oíd

*Dt 18:15* The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own brothers.

*You must listen to him.

*(VP) “El Señor su Dios hará que salga de entre ustedes un profeta como yo, y deberán obedecerlo.

(RVR) a él oiréis [escucharás – nvi];

JUST YOU………..& GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT…………..& GOD’S WORD

*John 14:26* But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you (*RVR*) Mas el Consolador, el Espíritu Santo, a quien el Padre enviará en mi nombre, él os enseñará todas las cosas, y os recordará todo lo que yo os he dicho.

*Jn 3:29* The bride belongs to the bridegroom.

The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice.

That joy is mine, and it is now complete.

*VP *En una boda, el que tiene a la novia es el novio; y el amigo del novio, que está allí y lo escucha, se llena de alegría al oírlo hablar.

Así también mi alegría es ahora completa

*Ps 119:18 *Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.

(*RVR*) Abre mis ojos, y miraré Las maravillas de tu ley.

(VP) Abre mis ojos, para que contemple las maravillas de tu enseñanza.

(*RVR*) Oh Jehová, de mañana oirás mi voz; De mañana me presentaré delante de ti, y esperaré.

(*VP*) De mañana escuchas mi voz; muy temprano te expongo mi caso, y quedo esperando tu respuesta

*Ps.55:17* (*NKJV*) Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And He shall hear my voice.

NIV - Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice.

 (*RVR*) Tarde y mañana y a mediodía oraré y clamaré, Y él oirá mi voz.

*Mk 3:13-14* Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him.

14 He appointed twelve—designating them apostles—*that they might be with him* and that he might send them out to preach  (VP) Después Jesús subió a un cerro, y llamó a los que le pareció bien.

Una vez reunidos, 14 eligió de entre ellos a doce, para que [estuvieran con el] lo acompañaran y para mandarlos a anunciar el mensaje.

A estos les dio el nombre de apóstoles,

WORSHIP SERVICE

*Matt 2:2  *and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews?

We saw his star in the east and [we] have come to worship him.”

(*RVR*) diciendo: ¿Dónde está el rey de los judíos, que ha nacido?

Porque su estrella hemos visto en el oriente, y venimos a adorarle.

(*VP*) y preguntaron: —¿Dónde está el rey de los judíos que ha nacido?

Pues vimos salir su estrella y hemos venido a adorarlo.

*Isaiah 58:13* “If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words,

*VP*)  “Respeta el sábado; no te dediques a tus negocios en mi día santo.

Considera este día como día de alegría, como día santo del Señor y digno de honor; hónralo no dedicándote a tus asuntos, ni buscando tus intereses y haciendo negocios.

*RVR * Si retrajeres del día de reposo tu pie, de hacer tu voluntad en mi día santo, y lo llamares delicia, santo, glorioso de Jehová; y lo venerares, no andando en tus propios caminos, ni buscando tu voluntad, ni hablando tus propias palabras,

 

HEART to heart

Mark 12:30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’

(RVR) Y amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma, y con toda tu mente y con todas tus fuerzas.

Este es el principal mandamiento

 

MEASUREABLE GOAL: 52 xs per yr………….how

many absences will be excused in heaven?

*Unmeasureable goal*: WORSHIP while you are here!

A true disciple is committed to coming and worshipping God

*Rev 11:1* “Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there.

(*VP*) “Levántate y toma las medidas del templo de Dios y del altar, y cuenta los que adoran allí.

*Jn 4:23-24* Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.”

(*RVR*) Mas la hora viene, y ahora es, cuando los verdaderos adoradores adorarán al Padre en espíritu y en verdad; porque también el Padre tales adoradores busca que le adoren.

24 Dios es Espíritu; y los que le adoran, en espíritu y en verdad es necesario que adoren (VP) …..los que de veras adoran al Padre lo harán de un modo verdadero, conforme al Esp. de Dios.

Pues el Padre quiere que así lo hagan los que lo adoran.

24 Dios es Esp, y los que lo adoran deben hacerlo de un modo verdadero, conforme al Esp de Dios

*2 Chron 7:1* [/God’s glory arrives at Temple/] When Solomon finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

2 The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it.

3 When all the Israelites saw the fire coming down and the glory of the Lord above the temple, they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, saying, “He is good; his love endures forever.” 2 Chron 5:14; 1Kg.8:11

*Ezek 10:4* [/God’s glory depart the Temple due to sin/] Then the glory of the Lord rose from above the cherubim and moved to the threshold of the temple.

The cloud filled the temple, and the court was full of the radiance of the glory of the Lord.

18 Then the glory of the Lord departed from over the threshold of the temple and stopped above the cherubim.

19 While I watched, the cherubim spread their wings and rose from the ground, and as they went, the wheels went with them.

They stopped at the entrance to the east gate of the Lord’s house, and the glory of the God of Israel was above them

*Ezek 43:5* [/God’s glory returns to Temple/] Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.

*44:4* Then the man brought me by way of the north gate to the front of the temple.

I looked and saw the glory of the Lord filling the temple of the Lord, and I fell facedown.

*Worship God by Singing to the Lord………*not just repeating the words!*            *

*Ps 149:1* Praise the Lord.

Sing to the Lord a new song, his praise in the assembly of the saints  (*RVR*)  Aleluya/ [/Alabad al Señor] Cantad a Jehová cántico nuevo; Su alabanza sea en la congregación de los santos.(*VP)*

¡Aleluya!

Canten al Señor un canto nuevo; alábenlo en la comunidad de los fieles.

*Matt 26:30* When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

(*VP*) Después de cantar los salmos, se fueron al Monte de los Olivos.

[they sang w~/ Jesus…..now we sing to Jesus]

*Worship God by Praying……..       *

*Luke 18:13* “But the tax collector stood at a distance.

He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, ‘God, have mercy on me, a sinner.’

(*VP*) Pero el cobrador de impuestos se quedó a cierta distancia, y ni siquiera se atrevía a levantar los ojos al cielo, sino que se golpeaba el pecho y decía: ‘¡Oh Dios, ten compasión de mí, que soy pecador!’

*Rev 5:8* And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb.

Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

(*RVR*) Y cuando hubo tomado el libro, los cuatro seres vivientes y los veinticuatro ancianos se postraron delante del Cordero; todos tenían arpas, y copas de oro llenas de incienso, que son las oraciones de los santos
