Before you can even start building anything, what do you need to have?
A foundation is necessary to have any kind of structure.
It also matters what material you lay as a foundation.
If it is the wrong material then you are going to have problems in the long run.

Building on any foundation takes faith in the kind of foundation you are laying.
Would you enter a building, if you knew it had a sketchy foundation?
No, you are trusting, or putting your faith in the architect that they laid it right, and with the right material.
Otherwise you would be kind of foolish for entering.
The thing is, you can’t see a foundation at face value, so you have to have faith when you enter what is built upon it.
All foundations will be destroyed, except those that are being built upon Jesus Christ.
It is a promise that everything that we know and don’t know will be burned up and destroyed by God in the ebd.
It is an important detail to keep in mind as you live your life for God.
Jesus, and all things build on Him will be the only things that will survive.

You can have faith in the foundation of Jesus, because He will last.

The previous stone like marble and granite have to be cut and it is a lot of hard work.
The Gold& Silver has to be mined molded right.
Wood, hay, and stubble don’t take that much effort to build with.
God will test the materials that you build with.
What will He test it with?
Fire
Fire is the same force, but effects different materials differently.
Wood, hay stubble, are all susceptible to catch on fire and burn away.
Gold, silver, precious stones are all durable and do not catch fire.
gold ad silver can melt at the right temperature, but they won't be burn a way.
This is all a judgement.
Only those materials will survive.
The imagery is describing the sonstruction of the temple of God.
The temple was made with marble and granite stones quarried from miles away and not cheap materials.

No it probably won't.
But it sounds scary to me.
Even if marble, gold, or silver passes through the fire and isn't burned away, they still have to feelthe heat...whatever that is.

Olympics were played and there was only one winner.
It is mentioned in other parts of the Bible and has a few different pictures to describe this event.
The bema seat was a raised/elevated seat that a person would sit at and be above other people.
They did not have a gold, silver, or bronze medal as a reward back then.
Who here didn’t know that you will have to stand before God?
Every person is going to have to stand before God and answer for everything they have done.
The imagery used in other parts of the Bible is of the Olympic sports.
Professional sports were a big deal back then, just like they are not.
Olympians were celebrities and famous.
They trained strenuously and intensely.
They worked their butts off.
