Some are harsh, unkind, and take God’s name in vain

We should talk positively, seeking to glorify God by extolling his goodness, grace, and love
Don’t speak negative even when it is true
If there is nothing good to say, say nothing

5. Perform Positive Deeds
Col 3:23 “23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,”
The actions of many are negative
They are selfishly motivated, dishonest, and displeasing to God
We must be truthful, ready to lift those who are down, and witness for Christ

6. Attend Positive Places
Ps122:1 “1 I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.””
Christians hurt their influence when they go to the wrong places in search of entertainment
Going to places for entertainment does not have to be bad; it becomes bad when it takes you from the House of God
