Clever Bibles this morning. Turn with me if you go to Philippians chapter 3, as we continue on, in our study, through the book of Philippians We're going to look at Christ the motive of our ministry. This morning Christ. The motive of our ministry chapter one. We looked at Christ, a message of our ministry chapter 2. We looked at Christ, the model of our ministry. So this morning, it's the motive. Why are we here? Why do we do what we do? What is our purpose and Paul's order? Lays it out to the Church of Philip Isis? Here's what we ought to be doing. Here's what her responsibilities as it, doesn't matter. Who we think. We are what we have accomplished. Here's what it's all about. And this morning I hope to get that point across to you and each and every one of us as we listen to the word of God, flipping beginning and verse 3. He says, finally my brother rejoice In the Lord. How many of you are rejoicing in the Lord today? Are you do you have anything to Rejoice about? You woke up today, a man. God is giving you another day to go forth rejoicing that he tells us in his word and everything. Give thanks in 1st Thessalonians. 5:18 for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you in everything. Give thanks that's not easy to do. Visit Because we were looking for, thanks to be something that we we enjoy not to give thanks for things that we don't enjoy. But if we understand as we get to the end of the chapter today, as we see that God has subdued all things, he's in control. So, there is not anything that happens in your life. That God does not know in that God is not in control of. He's got it all figured out in everything. Give, thanks. If you cannot rejoice in your circumstances, you can always rejoice in the Lord who controls your circumstances. Is God in control of your life. That's the big question is God in control or are we trying to control life ourselves? As we do our Bible reading in the mornings where in 2nd Chronicles going through the chapters ever will finish second chronicles this week but over and over again in the last few chapters that we will look that we see how a new king comes into place. A new judge is put into position and if the father was a Godly person doing the will of God and following God, then they would follow that rule and if the father was not a Godly person and did their own things, they would follow that rule. Sometimes a father has Godly person, the child does her own thing. Anyway, we understand that that's what all the way life is. But for the most part, if we're presenting the things of Christ to our family, presenting the things of Christ to those, that we love those who are around us, then God will bless God. Will guide God will direct and will receive the blessings from that. I have received many blessings in my life because of The Godly example of my own father, and striving to be a Godly example to my children, to my children's children. That's the key. We live in a society today we're godliness is would have been put out the window? We live our life. However we want, we live our life however we desire. We're not really overly concerned about what God says because hey I'm a Child of God. If something happens to me I'm going to have him because I believe

That's like me saying, okay, I'm married, my wife, and I have a document that says we're married. So therefore I can live my life. However, I want. That doesn't work, does it? Really doesn't work that way because if we love the Lord we're going to want to please him. Can we walk away from? And yes, we can, but there's going to be a drawing back towards him. He says it begins here in verse 1. Listen rejoice in the Lord. Fix your attention on him. Fix your attention on the Lord. He says, he goes on his way for me to write to you. The same thing to you is not tedious but for you, it is safe beware of dogs. Be where will workers? Beware of the mutilation for? We are the circumcision who worship God in spirit rejoice, in Jesus Christ. And have no confidence in the flash, though. I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks, he may have confidence in the flesh, I have more circumcised. All the Tribe of Benjamin, concerning a Pharisee persecuting. The church concerning the righteousness, which is in the law blameless. Compulsive. Listen, I've got quite a pedigree behind my name. And he says it really doesn't mean a thing. I care all that is lost back in Philippians 1:21. What does he say for me to live is Christ to die is gain, do it for you. And for me to live is prestige it for you, for you and me to live as finances. If for you to me and me live is our family, if that's what's important to us. And I'm not saying those shouldn't be important, but if that's what's most important to us more than Christ, more than the things that he's done, then for us to die is not gain for us. To die, is lost because if our faith is not in Jesus Christ, what do we have? Especially as we see the day approaching the end times coming, things are not getting better. Have you noticed Things are not getting better. We're getting further and further and further away from the things of Christ and sad to say, a lot of churches are getting further and further away from preaching and teaching the word of God as it should be. We pick and choose what we want to share, we pick and choose how we want to believe and how we want to live. Paul says he fix your attention on Jesus. He may not change your situation. But he will change you. And that's even better. Amen. We want the situation to fit us or do we want us to fit into the situation? God will take us and help us get through whatever situation. We're going through, Romans chapter 8, and 28 verse 28 says, all things work together for good to them that love God. So then they are called according to his purpose, right? He does not say all things are good. All things are not good, something still gay men. Some things are rotten, some things are terrible, but he says, hey, I can take those stinky rotten things and make a blessing out of them. Hey, look what he did for Lazarus, will you raised him from the dead? What would the Lord and leave them alone? They were saying that the brother died in the one of Jesus in a raised him from the dead three days later. Jesus shows up, Molly Malone, be home by now, he's stinking.

and Jesus said you called, did you imagine the joy that came out of their brother? Who was that? Is now a like why? Because Jesus rose him raise him up from the dead. We had that same hoping our Lord and savior. Amen, Jesus, Christ died. On the cross was put into the two but rose again, the third day, according to the scriptures. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, he's made everything beautiful in its time. He doesn't say, Everything is Beautiful, Everything Is Not beautiful. Amen, just look around.

Bad joke. I know. Just look up here. Everything is not good. Everything is not beautiful. But look what he says he makes everything beautiful win. And it's time when it's time, he makes it, he takes, whatever is terrible in our lives. And if we trust him through it, He blesses at and makes it beautiful.

Paula Sherry here. These first few verses, the importance of rejoicing. My question to you and to me this morning is, what is important to you? What is the most important thing in your life? That if you didn't have it, you couldn't carry on finances. Family, your house, your possession, whatever it might be, or Jesus, is Jesus, the most important thing to you because I know Kim blows all the blessings for all the rest out of him. For his, all the joy, and all the hope, and all the peace that he can give us in order to deal with whatever comes our way, with the rest of Do you feel as if you've made sacrifices for the Lord over the years? Are you keeping track? But Lord I've done this and Lord I've done that and Lord I have accomplished this and what have you done for me? Let me tell you what he's done for you, when he's done for me. Jesus Christ. Went to the Cross laid down his life willingly, even for the one who would despise him. The one who would hate him, the one who rejects him, he laid down his life willingly. That we may have eternal life. We put our faith in our trust in him. It's not about our work is not about anything we can do other than believing in him. And that once we believe in him, we have a responsibility to work out that salvation to do the things he's called us who we are his workmanship in Christ, Jesus created for good things. Paul in his letter here in chapter 3 he didn't feel like he had anything worthwhile that he lost anything worthwhile by trusting God, his whole relationship with those. That he knew his friends, the people that he worked with all of that changed when he said yes, to Jesus, all of that change. When he, he laid down his life on that Damascus Road. Is that Lord, what would you have me to do? And Jesus said to them. Okay, Paul you going to walk away from this job of climbing ladder, wherever you're at nothing, wrong, we're climbing ladder, but if that's all you're focused on God's not part of it, that's not the top part. There's a problem there. Paul, you going to walk away from all of that. Saw you going to walk away from all of that? And you're going to follow me? Oh yeah. By the way, you're going to suffer many things for my namesake But Saul God will bless you. You'll be a blessing in a reaching out to many people where you minister to them and be a blessing to those many people. Instead of losing, he gained everything. really worth living for he gained everything really worth having What have you sacrificed today? Forgot what is it that you have given up? And you feel like I lost all of this to follow up with people who have lost their relationship with her family? Why? Because you're following Jesus. Why would you follow that in that religion is is crazy. Believing in a God that you can't see.

Well, we do the same thing with a small gods of the world. Amen. They can't hear us. They can't see us. They don't have hands to hold as they. They can't take care of it. They haven't done a thing for us, other than maybe help us to spend our money on, whatever that small. God means to us. Where this Jesus Christ, I can only speak from my life has changed. Me has given me hope is giving me peace, comfort me, even in the midst of trial and tribulation.

Pogos on verses 7 through verse 11. He goes from rejoicing, the counting. Look what he says in verse 7 through verse 11

But what things were gained to mean these, I have counted loss for Christ yet. Indeed, I also count all things lost for the Excellency of the knowledge of Christ, Jesus, my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish that I may gain Christ. And be found in him not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness, which is from God by faith that I may know, him and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his sufferings being conformed to his death. If by any means I may attain by the resurrection from the dead. He says, listen. All of those things, I had everything that I have accomplished everything that I've done in my life. I count as rubbish. Why? Because that's not important to me. I want to gain Christ, I want to be what Christ wants me to be. What did he lose? What he lost and whatever he may have built up, whatever wrong he was on on the ladder, he got off of that. He went from being saw, the persecutor to being the Apostle, Paul, the persecuted, that's a big change. He was asking for names of people that he could go and persecute. And now, his name was at the top of the list. You guys go get him. You guys do away with him. Why? Because he's taking people away from the world and pointing them to this guy called Jesus, that leader of the way, remember that guy that for years and years? We try to find him and try to crucify him and we couldn't and then one day hey we got them. And the only reason they got him because Jesus said to his disciples haggai Now's the Time. Go. Do what you have to do that to son of, man. Jesus Christ may be offered up.

What's important to you? You feel like you've made those sacrifices?

What's going on in your life? That's keeping you from being what God wants you to be. We live in a society today where the younger generation needs to see that hoping us I don't like the direction our world's going. I don't like where we are in the world today. But here's what I do know. Jesus God the Father God the son. God the Holy Spirit. Jesus is in control. His father is in control of all things. We see that at the end of the chapter I'm going to repeat that again. At the end he is subdued all things. Everything is under his control. so if you want to be a part of a conglomerate that's doing well, get involved with Jesus, amen. Cuz man right there you'll go to the top, you'll go to the top for eternity and all time and it doesn't matter what your past is. He talks about that in a little bit. Doesn't matter your past. Give that to him, he'll guide you and he'll direct you. So we see that he's reaching, we see that he's counting our. He he's rejoicing, he's counting and first 12 2 verse 16. He's reaching pressing towards those things that are ahead. not that I've already attained not that he says a girl that Ivar I'm already perfected but I press on You feel like, giving up? You feel like there's no sense of God, you're just not answering my prayers. Maybe he is, maybe he's just not answering the way you want him to. That's usually my lot in life, I got an idea, okay, I'm going to pray for, this is how this is, how it out of work out, right? And I'm not the only one in that boat. I know. Cuz we have an idea how God are to do it and if God doesn't do it the way, we think he should. We try to make it happen. That's not nothing. New, go back in the Old Testament, read it over and over and over again. When I talked this morning in the early service about giving it all to God and you do not worrying about our finances, not worrying about our possessions or anything like that. Putting got it. The question was posed to be my by a young man who I've known for quite a while he says well. What about, what about the children of Israel then? So will, what do you mean when God said to them will, hey, you know, you you have all of this, take all the bread you need for today. Don't worry about tomorrow. So should we get rid of our finances, and get rid of all of our savings account? And just trust God everyday. I said well that's a good idea. Just donate it all to the church and will take care of it from. That's not what I said. I said that's not what he's talking about. What he's talking about is, if space is in your finances, something's wrong. If all your faith is in your family, something's wrong. If all your faith is in your possessions, something's wrong, put your faith in Jesus, put your faith in God and all the rest of it will fall into place as it should. But when we get that out of balance, If the and listen, we live in this world long enough, finances are going to go crazy, you know that, right? Whoever thought we'd be paying what we're paying for a loaf of bread, huh? What does the bible say? That you will work a day's wages. In the end times, you will work a day's wages for one loaf of bread.

So Monday, I'm working for bread. Tuesday, milk. Right in our Dairy Farmers, aren't going to get any more money. He'll be paying as much as we're paying. So, what do I need? How about a little bit of flour, work a day's wages for some flour, to make my bread dough to make something else, so it's not going to get better. Do you want to go on with this? The only hope that you and I have is pulse as, in who You know, the answer. Who is it? Say it again. Say it like, you mean it? at the name of Jesus, every Knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that he is Lord. Saul of Tarsus had to do that Lord, what would you have me to do? But he had time, he had time to repent. He had time to believe. He had time to follow. For some folks, we get to the end of the age, not then it's going to be too late, the rafters already going to take place. Everything's all going to be said and done. The end is near and somebody's going to look around for a while. I guess what the Bible said was true. I guess he was Lord. Jesus was was too late then. Because there's a time appointed for each and everyone of us. Don't miss that time. Look what else he goes on? He said I press on that. I may lay hold of that for which Jesus Christ has laid. Hold of me Brad and I do not count myself to apprehended but one thing I do forgetting the things which are behind Reaching Forward to the things which are ahead. Are you doing that? Are the things behind you holding you back when I was in high school, I ran track. Living in Oklahoma. I would have to run again, some native Native Americans. We know them as Indians. Can I say that?

You've heard this story before because my stories haven't changed. I had this one Native American kid, who would beat me every race no matter what he would beat me. He was he was just he was fast. Bobby, all you ever did was wrong. Exercise and he was gone. I was not spoil myself but this kid was fast and every race he get four as every race I could come in second until the one day we showed up at the track meet, he came with his thigh all wrapped up. I'm gone for the day is my day. I got him and the gun went off and we took off on the raisin man, I'm running around that track and we're coming around for the last leg of the track, the last quarter, and I'm on the straight away and I'm, I'm in the lead and I'm looking straight ahead because they teach you that and running look straight down. Look straight ahead, I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. Then I hear footsteps. And I see you in my peripheral a figure. And then I no longer see that figure in my peripheral because he's now ahead of me. I said he did it again. This injured guy beat me. I walked I went to the end of the race. At that cross, the line went up to a great job man. I thought you had you today. Coming here injured. Yeah, I guess I didn't know if I was going to be able to do it. Made me feel better and Great. But at the same time, my thought was, if I beat an injured guy, To get first place. A guy that has always beat me in the past. I get first place, because he's injured. What if I really done? I should wrap my leg up. I should run like here and dude has he could I really I didn't beat him so I didn't have to worry about that. He beat me fair and square. What not first race that I didn't win that? I thought I was going to win. It wasn't the last race at I thought I was going to win that. I didn't win. There's been other races where same thing happened again at the end. The faster guy gets a head. But listen, it sounds like our seems like maybe some days. We're running ahead of God and we like that and we get in trouble a man. But thankfully, God is always there, thankfully. He never leaves us nor forsake us, he keeps going on and he shows the way and we need to rejoice in that aspect. Look, when he goes on to say, I press towards the goal for the prize of the upward call of God. First 15. Therefore, let us as many as Armature had this mind. And if in anything you think otherwise God will reveal even this to you. God is guiding God is directing nevertheless to the degree that we have already attained. Let us walk by the same rule. Let us be of the same mind. Where are you today at what level are you today with God? Where would you put yourself on a scale of 1 to 10? Top four answers on the board. Where would you put yourself? Not one of us should say 10. We're not there. Probably shouldn't say 5. We're probably not there either. Compared to those around us know. Not where would you put yourself on the scale of Faith with God and only you can answer it cuz only you truly know how are you doing? What God wants? Are you doing what you want? And this is Paul's whole point that he's trying to get across our motive is Christ. What we do is not for ourselves. What we do is for Christ to glorify him to honor him. Friday was a little bit of a busy day for me, family things. I had to take care of doctors appointment. I had to go to all the things going on and who started off early. Had to take Anna to meet her party. That's going on a field. Trip. Lori had to go to school early. So lazy drop the van off at our house. Usually, and she rides to school with Lori. And my day was, okay Friday to bring her over to the shop and save, and we'll pick her up there. So, I took it to Shop and Save kicked her out and see you later. No, I waited. Till the Caravan showed up, then I get a phone call today and I forgot her dance bag. She has dance in Mechanicville on Friday nights, and she left her dance bag at school at home in Cambridge. Pop. Can you pick it up? Sure, I'll go get it. Dropped her off with her. Caravan went to Cambridge. Got the dance bag. I'm in Cambridge around 9. I think I'll stop and have breakfast. But you have breakfast here in Schaghticoke and didn't have breakfast stopping country. Gals in Cambridge had breakfast. I know the owners in. But nobody else in the diner. Did I? I didn't know anybody other than the owners. The waitress Waits on me and tell her what I want. I get my food, I eat it time to pay the bill. I go up to pay the bill and give the waitress some money and she starts doing her thing. And I'll do we know this is all paid for. I forgot gave me my money back. I'm like well, well who did that? And I'm looking around and there's nobody in there. I know somebody who knows you and it wasn't the owners. Somebody who knows? You paid your bill. I'm looking around. Thank you, whoever. You are. So I walked out of there, had all the money in my pocket, ready for another breakfast, the next day, right? No. Instead I took the blessing that was given to me. And I gave that blessing to the waitress.

I got my breakfast, it didn't cost me anymore, so why not pass at blessing on to someone else. Can't take it with me, right? That's what God wants us to do. He's blessing us daily a man. You got breath this morning will be thankful. You woke up this morning? Be thankful. He's blessing us. Even when we don't notice it and we need to be pressing forward going in and doing the things is called a snoop for others around us. So that we may draw all them not to ourselves, but the Jesus Christ somebody in that Diner. Knew who I was.

Careful where you go. Careful what you do. Cuz somebody knows who you are even when you don't know who they are. And you think what you want? Maybe I can get away with doing something. I shouldn't be doing somewhere in people are watching. Your family, your friends, even your enemies are watching you as a Christian to see how you act and react in different situations and what you do or don't do either draws in towards Christ or pushes them away. This is what we get in the Old Testament over and over and over again. Fathers teach and train. Your children is not just a father's responsibilities wives as well, their moms as well, but the spiritual responsibility lays on the father's shoulders. Why? Because what you do? Not only affects your children, but it sucks. Your children's children. To the 3rd and 4th and 5th generation that goes on. What is it in your life that you are doing or not doing? What is it in? Your life is going to draw your children and your grandchildren to Christ, your family or friends, those who you may, not know we're watching. But it watching, what is it in your life is going to draw them toward you or towards Christ or push them away from Christ?

Pause. Hey, we Christians were like Runners. We refused to look around or look back, but keep a running with her eyes on the goal. That's what I want. See I thought the children raised by Paul set. Who who got through that? Their Believers are serving God. All right, I didn't think about the Tagalongs. I didn't think about those nine grandkids that God was going to give us that. I still have responsibilities. Yes, it's Mom and Dad's responsibility, but I have a responsibility as well and they see me and they say lollipops. They know who we are. And people are looking to say, well, somebody asked me, how many grandkids do you have? I said, too many. I want to sell a couple who wants. Can never have too many grandkids, right? You can sugar him up and send him home. That's the blessings of God. when your kids were acting crazy when they were kids, No, it's rejoicing, it's running. It's reaching versus 18 verse 19 at weeping weeping, for those who have walked away from God weeping, for those who are not serving God, we should break our hearts. Am I 40 Years of ministry? I can't count. How many people have walked away from God doing their own thing. Why? Because God is stifling them and who they want to be at Paul says, God has made me who I am his blessed me in his life, but if we're serving God and doing nothing with it, we're going to feel stifled, serve God, reach out to other people. Look what he says in verse 18, verse 17 brother and join in following my example, can you say that note those who so walk as you have for us a pattern for Minnie walk of whom I have told you often and now tell you even weeping that they are the enemies of the Cross of Christ. Listen, there are those who are professing to be Christians. But they're enemies of the Cross of Christ. They're not building Unity. They're not building towards the right. Things they're tearing down the things that God has in. Verse 19 says, whose end is destruction, whose God small G. Is their belly and whose glory is in their shame. Who set their mind on what? Earthly things. Scripture says the set on liens on things above where moth and rust does not corrupt. Whether things are the world cannot come in and take away. God has all things in control. When we put our faith in our trust in him and not just partially but totally And your aunt your question. Maybe we'll pass play. How do you do that? Totally day by day? Day by day. Yes, we're human. Yes. We're going to stumble, we're going to fall, you know that, right? But when we stumble, when we fall it shouldn't be who I hope nobody noticed when we stopped them when we fall it out of me because I noticed, God, I'm sorry. I sorry, I'm sorry. I messed up. I I'm sorry. I didn't trust you the way that I should. I'm sorry. I didn't follow you as I ought to and when we get back on track and strive to do the best we can,

The next race that I ran against that. Native American Boy. Guess what? He beat me again.

I didn't go into the Raceway. Well, I'm just going to settle for something. How I tried to beat him? I did, I tried to outrun him this time. Instead of getting ahead of him, I tried to stay right with him. He's got something figured out, so I'll just stay with him. And we're run along and they fix it up. So I got to pick it up and he picks it up a little more. So I got to pick it up a little more.

I can't do. I get a heart monitor on, they're going to be wondering. What's going on? What's that? Got to wear it for two more weeks. That's a whole nother story, I'm fine. It's all for my little episode hear that there Wednesday night. Bible crew made me pass. Made me pass out, so I can pass it on to someone else.

So, my story for Friday, I got free breakfast. I stopped in the Stewart's on my way to Greenville to drop the bag. Off at Lisa's car, stop in Stuarts and saw somebody there I hadn't seen in a long time and say, hey, how are you? It's about 10, and he's having chili for breakfast.

Stewart's chili. I hope it was fresh and not two days. All anyway. Anyway, so we had a little conversation Talking about how things are and how you doing? Haven't seen you in a while. Has a family of chit-chatting, right? Then he asked me. This question that sort of brought it all together. You're still hungry. I tried if I call it hiking, some people call it hunting, but I go out in the woods and the law comes down to there's no connection spiritually for them to Christ. so, I meant So I said to them, eventually he and his wife, his wife came and sat down with him, and as I had played softball with his boys and he knows who I am from high school, are boys playing ball together, different things like that. So what, you know what? The only hope that we talked about politics of God thing? He and I swear agree together on politics. Why don't know where we're heading on this. Because man it's just things are terrible and blah blah blah blah blah blah.

And I said, well, the only hope we have is in Jesus.

The seems like all of Stewart's at that point in time. Quiet. Everybody is digging into whatever they're doing, but listening. God's. The only hope we have. It's not in politics. It's not the next great savior. Who's coming into this world to save us politically God is the only hope we have because God's its kingdoms up details, kingdoms down and you and I are here today as scripture says, for such a time as this and I knew I was telling him things that he had no clue what I'm talking about for such a time as this We're here you and I as Believers, we're here, we're here, they for such a time as this to be ministers to those around us. How we doing with that, are you? Perfect, but you're not going to be perfect at it but that's not an excuse to press towards the mark. That's not an excuse to not try. That's not excuse to come in third place strive for first. Keep working at it. Keep going forward, and God will guy, because look what. He says, verse 19 whose end is destruction. Whose God is her belly. That's where the world is headed. But a 20in verse 21. He talks about looking. We go from weeping for those who walked away to looking eagerly for the return of the Lord.

I'm going to be honest with you, I don't expect it to happen today, but it could I got plans for this afternoon. I got plans for this week. But I was supposed to have a calcium score test Friday afternoon. I went to have that done all we get there, I'm sorry Mr. MacAskill rctc machines broke down I wanted to be very mean sarcastic. So I have you ever heard of telephone call somebody and it wasn't her fault. She's just a receptionist I said well you know what, you know, those things happen, not your fault. Oh well, I guess I'm alive today. Well when can you come back yet I can come back anytime you want. How about 5? She looked at me machines broke. I ain't no. I'm just hoping I'm here. Let's get her done now. So Tuesday morning, I got to go back in for my calcium but I studied up. You know how I studied on that thing. They said you can't have caffeine you. You can't do any exercise and you can't smoke what a rotten day I had

Billy rotten part about it was I couldn't have caffeine the other two who really doesn't matter right now. So I got to do it again Tuesday and I did the first thing in the morning, so late in the afternoon. No caffeine. No exercise. No smoking. So I wait till I get outside and I'll do all of that stuff. If I did all that stuff. Northridge.

First 24-hour citizenship, as believer. If you're not a Believer, you don't have this for our citizenship is in heaven from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you doing? Are you eagerly waiting for him? We have a home in heaven. Our citizenship is already there. Trilogy Glee, wait for him, but while we're waiting, let's Rejoice. Let's count let's reach that sweet for those who are lost. But look what he says. Were there waiting for a savior? Jesus Christ will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to his glorious body, according to the working by which he is able even to subdue all things to himself. You get that last sentence. He is able to subdue all things. To himself, who's in charge. Got. Who you going to follow God? You want his Blessing, you want his piece, you want his Joy. Was he saying? John 14:27. Peace. I leave with you. My peace. I give you not the world's please. That's messed up, but the peace of God passes all understanding and he will subdue all things to himself. We better be willing to follow him. I should have made her scripture says, every knee will bow, every tongue will confess that he is Lord. Do that willingly. Not because it's too late, and you realize Hoops, I messed up. I should have believed when that pressure was there in my heart, when the conviction was on me, Do people get mad at me sometimes because I say things and it bothers them from the word of God. And I say, well, if it's my opinion, okay, but if it's the word of God, that's conviction, that's not me. Deal with God. Deal with the holy spirit, that the Holy Spirit, change you not my opinion, my opinion stinks. Unless it's based on the word of God and I can say hero from the word of God. It says But what did Paul say to the people in the beginning folks? Rejoice? In the Lord. Father, we thank you. We thank you that we can rejoice and you at all times regarding. So what's going on in our lives? Many of our church that are going through some health issues and yes, our prayers and our thoughts are for them. And with them, the father, I asked you help them to rejoice in the Lord because they have today, not one of us here, regardless of what's going on in their lives. Have a guarantee of tomorrow, but we have today. Let us do all that we can today for you Lord. Phelp help us to reach out to those who are walking away from God, who don't know, got to help draw them and buy our life, a lot of our actions so that they may see Christ in us, the hope of glory. Today we lift up Danny Bailey and his new diagnosis tumor is growing and get the doctor's wisdom and understanding what's going on with him. We lift up Leslie Sanders, when we lift up Chris Aldi, we lift up Diane's azzaro. Those going through cancer and dealing with that, we passed that your guidance and Direction. Be with them, we lift up a little girl that was shared with us in the early service named Aurora, 10 years of age who has been battling cancer for six years. Father give her and her family, hope and peace, and joy help them to rejoice in the Lord to press forward. Knowing that you have subdued all things Guide us and direct us and help us to serve you with all of our heart. In Jesus name, we pray
