“Worshiping the Wrong God”

Acts 14:8-18

1) Know that only the one true God has a way to eternal life.

2) This man evidently believed what Paul and Barnabas were sharing about Jesus.

3) When God does things, He does them perfectly and here is another example of that.

4) They believed the gods (little g) have come down as men and they were excited about that.

5) The garland was made out of wood and put around the animal’s neck before it was sacrificed.

6) Paul and Barnabas, again, because of the language issues, finally figured out what was happening and they were appalled.

7) They wanted them to know there is a real God, a one true God that not only healed this man, but made everything there ever was or will be.
