Jude wrote the book of Jude.
He is the brother of James and Jesus
He calls himself a slave
He wrote the book of Jude to a Christians dealing with False teaching in the church.
Why did Jude write his letter?
To exhort believers to stand firm in their faith
Remind them of God's judgment on the ungodly
To encourage Christians in their identity to Christ
Remind them that Christ will help them preserve

1. Christians are Secure and Beloved by God (1-2)

Called
beloved in God the father
kept for Jesus Christ
Mercy, peace and love

2. Christians must fight for the true message of the gospel (3)

Why we dont fight?
scared
fear of man
we dont know/ we havent taken our faith seriously

3. License to sin: The nature of the false teachers (4)

False teachers creep in noticed because we dont know our faith
they are ungodly because they twist the grace of God
These false teachers were saying that because of the grace of God they could continue to sin.
We are saved by Grace, Jesus death saved us from our sins, the grace of God changes our hearts and makes us new creation.
