God Desire Is For You To Live Abundantly
Abundant = To do more, Make more, Increase, To Overflow
Joshua 24:15 “15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.””
When I say the choice is yours, you have the determining ability that will allow you to walk through The Door into a place that keeps you in perfect peace!
Jesus said; John 10:9 “9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.”
When you are awaken to the Truth, that He has made you free, you then will arise and be settled in knowing that God intended for me to live an abundant life!
He gave all so that we can have all! You have to settle your thinking into knowing that God will never leave you nor forsake you - Forsake = To Abandon - God will never abandon you, which is the opposite of Love; He won't abandon what you love! Abandon = To leave behind; to neglect; to desert; to give up; to utterly forsake and abandon. It is a strong word indicating a permanent state!
Jesus The Christ, here in the text, is primarily speaking to Shepherds (Pastors), but He wants The Sheep to understand that because He opened the Door, do not allow your past or present confinement to keep you from moving and following The Truth of God!
God Planned for you to live an abundant life, you do not have to accept the mediocre - You have to stop allowing the plot of the “Inner-Me” to keep you confined to the flesh - Jesus is saying to us, literally, what life are you going to choose? John 10:10 “10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
This is what the one thinking tells you, but when you allow My Mind to be in you - regardless of the circumstances surrounding you, abundance is your portion!
You must grab hold of it and do not allow the other thinking to rob, kill or destroy what you know God has done for you!
He said; “My Sheep know my voice. . .” You know what I have spoken to you and that the word God has sent to you through me has given you life; why eat something else that desires to kill, steal and destroy that?
Joshua told them what the other side does not provide, the other thinking that is - Let go of that old way of thinking and serve God fully!
Yes, I know it may seem difficult at times, but is there anything too hard for God?
Nothing!
The Choice Is Yours!
I have seen too much of God’s Glory - I have experienced too much of His Presence, to allow myself to be separated from knowing that He Loves me!
I understand that this life has brought you into limited thinking, has attempted to confine you to one sheep pen, I realize that the enemy desires to curse you, but you have to choose The Holy Spirit, Whom will remind you of His Word - Joshua 24:9-10 (NKJV) 9 'Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose to make war against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you. 10 'But I would not listen to Balaam; therefore he continued to bless you. So I delivered you out of his hand.
Because God Loves Us So, although the enemy desires to curse you, God will cause the very instrument to become a blessing to you and God will deliver you out of the hand of the enemy!
Even though you were caught up into your old way of thinking, captivated by the prince of the air, The Love of God led captivity captive, and brought you victory when it looked like defeat!
And now you are in The Fold of everlasting life and; John 10:16-18 (NKJV) 16 And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. 17 Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. 18 No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father."
The Choice Is Yours - Make your mind up and do not allow the thief to come into your thinking and steal, kill or destroy what you know God has done for you!
You know He has opened The Door and you know that He has brought you out of that, so you can experience an abundant life!
Stop warring with the flesh, God has given you the victory over the flesh - This is one reason we question our choice because God is invisible and when we cannot see it, we draw back; Romans 8:5-10 (NKJV) 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
You have to remain in Who God Called you to be, regardless of the natural experiences we face, God has caused us to overcome all of them by The Blood. . . - Colossians 1:13-17 (NKJV) 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
There is nothing that will be able to rip you from The Promise, but if you do not hold fast in your thinking, the presentation of the prince of the air will cause you to believe that God has left you and He will not deliver you!
He has already conveyed us - “Moved us along. . .” into His Kingdom - You do not have to wait to get to heaven to experience an abundant life, you can have it right here, right now!
When you are facing opposition, which may not always be external, but can come from within - you remind yourself that because you are in His Hands, you will live and not die - You will have an abundant life - You will do more, make more and increase!
It is not about your works you do that pleases God, but your faith while you doing the works that does not seem to be appreciated - Jesus said to them; “You have seen all of the things that I have done, for which one of those things you want to stone me for. . .”
They wanted to stone him because of their religious piety kept them from choosing The Way!
The thief, for them, was Religion - Traditionalism and piety - They were more loyal to the religion than they were to The Word of God!
Jesus said; I came through forty and two generations, so that you can see how to live an abundant life in the midst of chaos, in the midst of calamity, in the midst of persecution!
