The Power Of Speaking
John 6:63 “63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.”
Speak - To Say, To Utter, To Tell, To Talk - You all hear me say this all the time “Never Met A Bad Day!”
Well, I heard that, so my talk must say what I have heard because that is what I believe - John 4:48 “48 Then Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe.””
Pastor Bynem: “Say what you hear, until you see what you say. . .”
Hear - To Consider, To Behold, To Take Note, To Look Upon
Much Word has gone forth that will give you encouragement to continue on - as to where we should be able to see the Power Within and know that we can get up and get on in!!!
We ought to believe now, but because we cannot see it - our speech is muzzled by the threat!
God’s Word in the beginning was with Him - He released His Word into the earth for you and for me, we have His Word etched in our hearts, to speak with authority and power, but due to the didymus syndrome, we waver and then wonder why we are not moving!
The Woman at the well did something unusual - she went to draw water during a time that was out of the ordinary! Typically, they would go draw water during the cool times of the day, but she went during a time of need
Jesus intreated a conversation to provoke the power in her, to speak truth!
This type of speaking peaked the interests of Jesus - He said; “You truly speak. . .”
He had to show her that when she drink of this water, no longer will she be guilty of the shame of her social status!
She knew that He was coming and He would tell her all things - and when Christ awakened in her the power to speak, the bible says; John 4:15 “15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.””
So she spoke truly, and for that, she left her old way of thinking and grab hold of this New Life and had to tell others about The Christ!
You got to stop holding back and speak to Our Father with an assurance, showing that you believe Him, regardless of the current state I am in!
God can cause increase, even in troubling times - Daniel 9:25 “25 “Know therefore and understand, That from the going forth of the command To restore and build Jerusalem Until Messiah the Prince, There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks; The street shall be built again, and the wall, Even in troublesome times.”
The problem we have at times, we allow our minds to become tangled up with needing to have all the attention - This mindset truly paralyzes you from entering into The Power!
Stop looking for attention and seek better - This man was more paralyzed in his thinking than his body - Which is why could not move an few inches - he was stuck in the cycle of thinking that someone had to put him in!
There is a dichotomy between the paralyzed man and the Samaritan Woman!
The Samaritan woman was not concerned with attention, she was there at a time when no one else was around, therefore, you have to stop seeking deliverance through pity! John 5:6-7 “6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” 7 The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.””
The man was so blinded by his condition, he seemed to be paralyzed - Even though there is no clear indication of his sickness, but what I believe his greatest sickness, was his inability to speak power enough to get up and walk!
Even Jesus asked him what does he really want?
It seems as if Jesus was looking at the man as if he was scrunching His Face, but we know this was not the case!
Notice, when Jesus asked the question, the man went to a pity party!
Remember how Jesus told gave the woman at the well instructions on living water, she immediately threw aside her waterpot and spoke life; “Sir, give me this water. . .”
I am tired of living this way - Tired of thinking this way - Psalms 51:9-10 “9 Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
God says in Ezekiel 18:31 “31 Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For why should you die, O house of Israel?” You go get it! You speak life!
We must lay aside all those thoughts that desire to rob us of the Power To Speak!
You cannot allow those thoughts to keep running in and out - Thus the reason some of us remain paralyzed!
38 Years - This man not once spoke life to get into the water!
This man not one time considered what he had heard - obviously, he heard that The Angel would trouble the water, thus the reason he was there, but he became so paralyzed in his thinking that he was on the verge of deliverance but stymied himself because of pity!
You cannot consider the negative, you will began to speak that negative, thus the man’s response when Jesus asked if he wants to be made whole!
John 4:35 “35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”
Jesus says to change your speech - stop talking past tense - He says to see it now and say it now!
Some of you are receiving due season, due to the sowing of others - and that is ok because God said so!
He can do what He desires
God’s Word awakens you and empowers you!
God’s Word awakens you and empowers you!
His Word gives you The Power to say those things that be not and believe what you say!
The Woman Believed - Abraham Believe and it was accounted to him as righteousness! Mark 9:23 “23 Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.””
The nobleman came down because he heard that Jesus was in Jerusalem and his son was sick - Christ rebuked them for needing to see, in order to believe - Jesus began doing a new thing, He spoke a Word, saying; “Go your way, your son lives. . ..”
The Bible says that the man believe His Words and went his way!
Because God has spoken over you, believe His Word and go His Way!
Yes, you have purpose, and God has empowered you with His Word to go your way!
I am so thankful for Apostle Williams - Purpose - Passion = Paralysis!
But I believe Christ spoke passion into this man, when empowered him to go into purpose!
The man at the pool of Bethesda was so confounded because of his own thinking, he could not even scoot to get in the water, but when Jesus Spoke Passion into him, he realized that he no longer needed to get into the water, he has life now - because of The Spoken Word!
I know it may seem to difficult to comprehend because of the fog that attempts to cloud your vision into the power of God’s Word!
Do not allow your own understanding fog up The Knowledge and Understanding of God’s Word, which gives us life 1 John 5:20 “20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.”
We know that He will never leave us, nor forsake us, therefore we rest on the nourishment of His Word! After Jesus done all of these healings, the Disciples thought He was hungry - But Jesus said; John 4:34 “34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.”
The Work is done - We have the Glory of God to walk into His Finished work - Come what may, do not allow the circumstance to speak louder than the Promise - Job 23:12 “12 I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food.”
The reason why some of us have not realized the Power To Speak, is because we feel as if we are entitled to it - Jesus told the Samaritan Woman that God desires True Worshippers!
