I. God’s Power helps us on the battlefield.
satan is a spiritual enemy who wants us to put our lives under his authority. see Rev. 12:9 the end of satan.
The Temptation of Christ - Spiritual Warfare
see Matt. 4:1-12 - Jesus weapons are spiritual weapons.
1. Putting on the full armor to defend against the schemes of the devil.
see 1 Jn. 4:4
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
2. To Resist- just say no! in the evil day - [from now until Jesus returns] so take your stand- standing firm in the truth - never surrender the Truth of God.
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
See 1 Pet. 5:8-9
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

Walking in faith in Jesus Christ.

10. Pray to proclaim the gospel of peace.
And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
