The enemy and sin is out of control in the world today.
What do I mean?
We as humanity can not stop the evil of the devil or what sin is making people do to each other.
As Christians our obligation is to pray, share the Word of God, and do what we can to pick up the pieces and help those that need it.
Doing these things in themselves are not going to keep us as Christians from falling.
We must have Faith in Jesus to Keep us from falling.
God is the only one that can keep Christians from falling.
We cannot lean on our learning, our abilities, or our mentors, we can only have faith in God to stand.
Christ is our only hope to stand in these last day.
Matthew Henry’s Commentary on the Whole Bible: Complete and Unabridged in One Volume (1 Corinthians 10:6–14)
Distrust of himself, putting him at once upon vigilance and dependence on God, is the Christian’s best security against all sin.
Matthew Henry’s Commentary
We as saints cannot lean on what we know about God to keep us from falling away from God.
Jesus is right there to help us
Temptation will always be chasing us to overtake us, but God comforts us with theses words.
Temptation Is Powerful But God is Greater and Faithful.
