And the angel said to me, “Why do you marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and the beast, the one carrying her while having seven heads and ten horns.
The Beast Was and is Not, and is About to Come, Revelation 17:8
Revelation 17:8
The beast which you saw, was and is not and is about to come out from the abyss and he will go into destruction. And the dwellers upon the earth will be caused to wonder, whose names have never been written upon the book of the life from a foundation of a world, while seeing the beast because he was and is not and is present.
The Beast is a Man, 2 Thessalonians 2:8-9
Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;
that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,
Three Parts to Sheol (Hades)

The Lowest Sheol Where the Fire Burns, Luke 16:26

They were imploring Him not to command them to go away into the abyss.

The Man of Lawlessness is Killed and Revived, Revelation 13:3

As A Human, He Would Go to the Lowest Sheol
He Comes Back From the Abyss, Revelation 17:8

The Only Things in The Abyss Are Demons
A Demon From the Abyss is Allowed to Take the Soul and Spirit of the Man of Lawlessness From Sheol (Hades) and Reanimate the Physical Body on Earth
Satan Attempted to Reanimate the Body of Moses, Jude 9
But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
Demons Have the Ability to Heal the Human Body, or Cause it Harm, Matthew 9:32; Matthew 17:18
As they were going out, a mute, demon-possessed man was brought to Him.
And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon came out of him, and the boy was cured at once.
His Coming is Our From the Abyss, He is not coming from the Abyss
This is not a Demon Possessing the Body
The Demon makes it Possible for the Man of Lawlessness to Remain Alive After His Mortal Wound
The Beast Will Go Into Destruction, Revelation 17: 8

The beast which you saw, was and is not and is about to come out from the abyss and he will go (ὑπάγει) into destruction.
The Beast and The False Prophet Are Cast Into the Lake of Fire, Revelation 19:20
And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone.
Those Who Follow the Beast Will be Cast Into The Lake of Fire With the Beast, Revelation 19:20

The Earth Dweller will Wonder After the Beast, Revelation 17:8

Earth Dweller is a Term Predominately Used of The Unsaved
It means to Settle Down, Reside
They Rejoice when the Two Prophets are Killed, Revelation 11:10
And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.
The Beast Has Authority Over Them, Revelation 13:7-8
It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him.
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.
Their Names Have Not Been Written in the Lambs Book of Life, Revelation 17:8
