Pastor’s Corner:
Welcome to the Moorefield Church of God!
We love you and are thrilled to have you here as part of the church family!
If you are visiting with us today we are so glad that you are here and want to extend a warm welcome knowing that you will be among friends and a loving church family!
You may be coming through the doors today feeling exhausted or overwhelmed.
At times our modern lives can be so demanding that we are left feeling that there are not enough hours in the day or that we do not measure up to life’s demands.
The Bible teaches us in Isaiah 40:31 “but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
Isn’t it good to know that the we can rest in the Lord at anytime and He will renew our strength!
No matter where you are in your journey with Christ today, we all need spiritual revival on some level.
If you are already a Christian perhaps you need to learn how to grow your trust in the Lord with every area of your life to know God deeper and receive all that He has for you.
Proverbs 3:5 “ Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.”
This simply means to let go and let God!
If you do not yet know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior than you most certainly need spiritual revival.
John 3:16-17 “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”
This means you are not a mistake or unwanted or a random occurence in the universe but rather you are created by a loving God that gave His life not to condemn you but so that you could have an eternal relationship with Him, and experience a love and a peace that you have never known.
So be encouraged today that no matter where you are or what you have been going through that the Lord is desiring to draw you closer to Himself.
If you don’t know Him than know Him.
If you do know Him that let go and let God reignite the Holy Spirit fire inside of you so that not only can you experience the Lord in a deeper way but that Christ will use you to share His love with countless others.
Blessings,
Pastor Rich
