Nothing Can Hold Me Down
Oddly, we talk much about Christ Rising from the dead, but it seems as if we only are focused on The Power of His Resurrection during the season of Easter!
I believe The Blood still has Power - I believe that The Resurrection reassures us that Because God Said So, Nothing Else Matters. . . We have evidence of His Word and Promises coming to pass. . .
What happened on Golgotha Hill - was The Word of God fulfilled - Nothing happened that God had not already ordained - Matthew 26:.31 “31 Then Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: ‘I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’”
Evidence - Witness / Mouth
Hebrews 11:1 “1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Luke 6:44 - 45 “44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”
Reassurance - In order to be reassured, first, we must understand the assurance - Hebrews 10:22 “22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.”
The Resurrection of Christ Our Lord and Savior, is an assurance of God doing what He said He would do!
In order to understand and know this, you must have a relationship with The Father, The Word and The Holy Spirit - Whom will reveal to us the blessed assurance of God’s Promises.
The very thing that cause us to worry is the lack of an assurance, primarily due to the circumstances we have encountered, encountering, or the threat of what we could possibly encounter!
Insecure mindset is our primary reasoning for not rest in The Word of God!
We have many witnesses that have testified of God’s Truths, but yet, because it has not happened to me, it is difficult to ascertain and receive!
Because of Jesus The Christ - Many have been made to stumble, but we have been so religiously confound that when we stumbled, we felt as if we fell out of God’s Grace!
You cannot out run Grace - His Grace and Mercy are always following you - Truth is: Romans 5:20 “20 Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,”
Jesus prayed the same prayer three times (Matthew 26:44 “44 So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words.” )
We cannot give up because of what we are about to endure - We must continuously seek Our Father for guidance, instructions and Power!
The flesh is extremely weak - trust me, I know - but The Willing Holy Spirit is ready to empower you to continue on!
Jesus did not pray three times because He was so weak, but He prayed for The Father to Empower Him to continue on - Matthew 26:53 “53 Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?”
When you have been empowered by God you know what He can do - therefore, you do not worry about the enemy, you just rest in His Will and know that God will get the glory out of this!
Because God said it, nothing else matters - His Word is true and we have so much evidence of His Word coming to pass, we ought to not have a worrisome thought in our mind - We condemn Peter for denying Christ three times, but His Word had to come to pass - it was necessary - The crow was a reminder to awaken Peter out of the sleep he was in - God has assigned a reminder, which will awaken you to whom you are and cause you to become remember Who you serve!
Do Not Become So Overwhelmed With All The Things Coming Up Against You!
Matthew 27:13 “13 Then Pilate said to Him, “Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?””
When they hung Him On The Cross, they gave Him gall/vinegar - Bitterness to the extreme, but Christ tasted it and did not drink it - God don’t want your bitterness, it contains too much doubt, it is lukewarm and it makes Him sick - He won’t drink it!
But He will drink your Praise!
To the text - The Angle of The Lord descended and rolled back the stone - Right in front of those whom were given charge to keep Him bound by what they thought could hold Him!
John 2:19 (NKJV) 19 Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
Because God did what He said He would do - nothing else matters - Thru Jesus The Christ, His Only Begotten Son - He has redeemed us from what use to bind us up - This is why Paul urges knowers of the The Promises - “Believers, do not be entangled again with the yoke of bondage. . .” God has raised Him from the Grave - From everything that had you bound, Jesus Christ got up from that!
And Because He got up from that, nothing can hold you down - Let The Mind of Christ be in you - Christ prayed three times to God for Power to endure and P.U.S.H - Perseverance Uncovers & Strengthens Hope - Because God Said So - And I know He can do it - My Hope Is Strengthen!
Therefore, I no longer am there - He has brought me here from that! “He is not here. . .” So many are still seeking who you use to be - you got to let the Angels of The Lord tell them “You Are Not Here. . .”
