Call to worship:
2 Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” 3 The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad. 4 Bring back our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the South. 5 Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. 6 He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.

10 You shall surely give to him, and your heart should not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the Lord your God will bless you in all your works and in all to which you put your hand.
Today’s Text:
22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
The lust of the eye is desire. we can like what we have just fine until we see what someone else has.
this goes back to where is your treasure is there your heart is also.
the good eye loves the Lord and what the Lord wants. the bad eye wants every thing it sees and it will never be satisfied.
where ever are eyes are that’s where are soul is.

if your eyes are pointed toward God then all then your body is full of light.
when your eyes are pointed toward the things the world then your life is about the world.

be sure that you don’t set your eyes on the things of God so that your body can be full of light.
