Proclaim Liberty Throughout the Land!

Leviticus 25:8–13 NKJV
‘And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family. That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine. For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its produce from the field. ‘In this Year of Jubilee, each of you shall return to his possession.
Luke 4:16–21 NKJV
So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”
Liberty Bell: ‘Proclaim LIBERTY throughout all the Land unto all the Inhabitants thereof’ is inscribed in bronze on the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia (it originally comes from Leviticus 25:10).

What makes America so special?

It is a Constitutional Republic built around the core values of LIFE, LIBERTY, and THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS as set forth in our Declaration of Independence.
People are coming from around the world to experience the freedoms we enjoy in this country.

Quotes on Freedom

“There are two freedoms: the false where a man is free to do what he likes; and the true where a man is free to do what he ought.” –Charles Kingsley
“No man is entitled to the blessings of freedom unless he be vigilant in its preservation.” –Douglass MacArthur
“Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.” –Alexis de Tocqueville
“God grants liberty only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard it and defend it.” –Daniel Webster
“Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged.” –President Ronald Reagan
“A Constitution of Government once changed from Freedom, can never be restored. Liberty, once lost, is lost forever.” ― John Adams, Letters of John Adams, Addressed to His Wife

Free but Enslaved

“Man is born free, but everywhere he is in chains.” –Jean-Jacques Rousseau
Are you free but enslaved?
John 8:34 NKJV
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.
Are you enslaved in the bondage of sin?

Jesus can set you FREE!

John 8:31–36 NKJV
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” They answered Him, “We are Abraham’s descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, ‘You will be made free’?” Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

The Pathway to Freedom

The GOAL is FREEDOM.
Freedom comes through KNOWING THE TRUTH.
It is not the TRUTH that sets us free but the truth that we KNOW that sets us free.
Freedom does not ultimately come through deliverance from demonic power but from a living encounter with the TRUTH.
“Deliverance without an encounter with the Truth is only relief.” –E. Keith Hassell
Knowing the Truth comes by ABIDING IN HIS WORD.
Abiding in His Word means being a DISCIPLE of Jesus Christ.
Abiding in His Word is preceded by BELIEVING in JESUS who IS the WORD and the TRUTH.
John 14:6 NKJV
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
It means TRUSTING in the finished Work of Jesus on the CROSS by which we can be set FREE!

Response to the Word

Come to Jesus. He is the only ONE who can set you FREE!
