Remember
Reflecting on Christ’s death for our sin
This morning to celebrate Easter we will remember and worship Christ
At the end of the service we will serve the Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper is intended as a memorial and a time of reflection on what Christ has done for us – how He suffered and died for our sin – it provides this picture in anticipation of His coming again

Let me give some instructions so we can participate without interruption at that time
The Lord’s supper is intended only for those who have trusted Christ as their savior
It is intended for those who have examined themselves and are seeking to walk with   \\             Him (not perfect – but seeking to be a Christ follower and deal with sin)
We welcome you to participate with us if you meet these criteria (don’t have to be \\             a member of our church)
We leave the decision up to you on whether to participate
If you choose to participate please hold the bread until all are served – will pray and eat ~/ drink  together

Let us remember and celebrate that the weight of our sin has been removed through the death of Christ

7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
!! B.     He willingly gave Himself
(NKJV) 1 Corinthians 11 24 and when He had *given thanks*, He broke it

5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
*(NKJV) Isaiah 53 6* All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth.
