Text - Galatians 3.28-29
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Discrimination is one of the most heated issue today.
discrimination is applied to race, social status and gender
discrimination results in injustice, maltreatment, and abuses
Discrimination has become a purely negative thing, and is applied to practically all forms of differentiation and distinction.
in short - to discriminate is wrong, period;
Discrimination is mostly defined as -

3 a: the act, practice, or an instance of discriminating categorically rather than individually

the verb form is defined as -
to make a difference in treatment or favor on a basis other than individual merit 〈discriminate in favor of your friends〉 〈discriminate against a certain nationality〉
Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary (Eleventh Edition) Discrimination
prejudiced or prejudicial outlook, action, or treatment
based on - color of the skin, race/nationality, gender, wealth/social standing
But there is a positive definition of the word discriminate -
1 a: to mark or perceive the distinguishing or peculiar features of
b: DISTINGUISH, DIFFERENTIATE 〈discriminate hundreds of colors〉
2: to distinguish by discerning or exposing differences especially: to distinguish from another like object verb intransitive
the Latin origin discrimen means ‘distinction’; from discernere, “to distinguish between”
There is no English word discriminate in the Bible, but there is the equivalent ‘discern, discernment’ and ‘distinguish’;

the Bible does speak out against discrimination that leads to injustice and abuse
but the Bible also teaches us how discrimination/distinguishing becomes beneficial.

God separated Israel as nation for Him

Israel’s exclusive covenant with God became an excuse for Israel’s discrimanatin and prejudicial behavior against the Gentiles -
they called the Gentiles pigs
Nevertheless, God allowed certain Gentiles to become part of Israel’s blessing

Galatians 3.28 does not apply to men and women roles
because the Bible makes distinction between men’s and women’s roles
husbands love your wives…wives submit to your husbands…

yes, the gospel does make no more distinction between Jew and Gentiles

17 Therefore “Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you.”
