*Matthew 18:21-35* The Unmerciful Servant
*Luke 7:36-50* Simon the Pharisee, The sinful woman, and the Grateful Servant.
\\ Remember Peter who Denied Jesus 3 times *John 21: 15-17 “*John do you love me?”
All Three of them deal with Forgiveness at the deepest level for us.
\\ At the level of the heart.
Let take a look at the ones who have forgiveness & got it, But do not accept it!
a. Look at the unmerciful Servant He was wicked!
b.The Pharisee is “Mr.
better than you” “if this man were truly a prophet……

Now lets take a look at the ones who get it , and respond as people who have it.
a.
The Sinful woman get’s it… Her past
b.
The servant who was forgiven much loves much simple.
Now how do can we tie these two together..
You Guessed it.. Jesus lives out the forgiveness that he taught that he wants people so desperately to grab a hold on too with Peter.
(elaborate)

Let me close with this, Follower of Christ, Saved one, Christian, Have you Forgiven the people in your life who so desperately need to see Jesus love in the flesh?
Jesus says in *John 14:15* \\ "*If you love me*, you will obey what I command.
Not much to elaborate here.
When the disciples ask how should we pray, part of that prayer was
“Father forgive us of our Trespasses as we forgive those who trespass us.
It’s not a question of should you.
It’s a question of Will you do it before it’s to late? \\ \\

Have you Received forgiveness….? In these stories,  A great King Forgave the impossible debt, A banker, or loaner of money who had great wealth forgave the debt, then finally, Jesus the Son of God, Savior of the world who forgave you of your Sins Has set you free because he paid your Debt.
If you want that forgiveness, then bow you heads and pray this prayer after me.
