11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself /His/ own special people, zealous for good works.

* Enlightening

* Grace that teaches what not to do

* Ungodliness

* Worldly lust

* Grace that teaches what to do

* Live soberly

* Righteously

* Godly

* Presently

* Expectant

* Anticipating the good that comes from Holy living

* Watchful for Christ’s return

* Extricating

* Christ sacrifice rescued us from every one of our lawless deeds

* Engaging

* Christ purified us for Himself and unto passionate good works

!! Ephesians 2:4-10 (NKJV)

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised /us/ up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly /places/ in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

8 *For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.*

10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

7 And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.

8 Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. 9 And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake.

For when I am weak, then I am strong.
