What is Pentecost Sunday about?

A majority of Christians do not believe in Holy Spirit is real, that majority is over 62%.
Romans 8:6 NASB95
6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace,
David Rogers’ dream:
Scene 1: I was a new team member of some kind of televangelist show, yes, the kind that none of the younger generation likes! But it was interesting because what I brought was a youthful passion, purity and authenticity that was previously lacking on the show, it was like I broke off all the nonsense that was associated with what was going on before and brought a new fresh move of God. But at the same time I was joining with an older generation, riding on their favor, using their platform to reach hundreds of thousands of people. There was a unity and joining of generations that was really powerful and I knew that on my own I would not be nearly as effective.
Scene 2: Then I was observing a pregnant teen who was about 9 months pregnant with her friends, hanging out on their school grounds. I could tell she was within a few days or weeks of giving birth because she looked like she was having some birth pains and was starting to need help to get around. Luckily she had her friends around her to help her. Then I heard a voice that spoke a warning about making sure that no rubbing alcohol (used for sterilization) got on the baby as it was being birthed. I had a sense that the baby needed to come out as is and that we needed to resist the urge to sterilize it or clean it up so that it was acceptable to our senses.
Scene 3: Then, I was in a revival type service at Bethel church in Redding, CA and Bill Johnson was up on stage conducting a "come Holy Spirit" moment. I was in the middle of a packed out crowd as we waited on God together. I could feel the anointing increasing and then suddenly a great surge welled up in me to cry out "Release the people" but it was so intense in my dream that I couldn't say it in my dream, it actually woke me up from my dream. As soon as woke up I very clearly knew that I had a choice to say it or not (but of course I did!). I was now fully awake and as soon as I started saying, "Release the people", over and over, I saw with my now open eyes, Holy Spirit in the shape of a dove, many of them, coming up out of my spirit and going out to find people to rest upon, empower and release into their calling/destiny.
Scene 1 (Father): We have a foundation of the previous generation and it may be offensive to us, but we are called to honor the past, embrace the past as if it was our own, then have a heart that discerns and cuts through the chaff to being what God is saying now without apology. We can't do it our way or give in to criticizing the past or into an ideology of how it "should be". There is only how it is now, what we have been given now. Honor that we are who we are by His Grace from generation to generation.
Scene 2 (Son): The new thing God is doing is messy, youthful and inexperienced. DO NOT sanitize what God is doing. Resist the urge to fix it! Your pain from the last move of God, your prejudices and judgments of the past will drive you to sanitize what God is doing now. This WILL destroy what God is doing in your sphere of influence. Become like a child again and let God be God. DO NOT sanitize or try to control this because of your fears. Scene 3 (Holy Spirit): Come Holy Spirit! He desires a people, a community to move upon and though.

Purpose:
1 Corinthians 12:7 NASB95
7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
People often use the power of Holy Spirit to feel significant or valued.
The gifts of Holy Spirit are for the people around you.
The gifts of Holy Spirit are for Father to be seen in you.
The gifts of Holy Spirit are for the Body of Christ to glorify Jesus.
What it takes:
There are some question you may be asking yourself.
What if Holy Spirit wants me to move or do something I can’t?
What if Holy Spirit asks me to love someone I don’t want to. Or I only have hate for?
What if Holy Spirit asks me to submit?
What if Holy Spirit asks me to do something that will make me look wrong?
What if Holy Spirit asks me to lead in something I know little or nothing about?
We need to fall in love or have our needs met in a stronger way than our fears stop us from moving.
Witnesses:
Holy Spirit is in our lives and brings power.
It’s more than power.
It’s the ability to become the expression of Christ, like you could not before.
Is/has come upon:
of the Holy Spirit,
to arrive, to overtake, descending and operating in one.
Implies to become one.
When what is inside you becomes what is outside of you.
Witnesses:
historical sense. 1. One who is a spectator of anything.
ethical sense. 2. Become an example of.
those who after his example have proved the strength and genuineness of their faith in Christ by undergoing a violent death.
The violent death is most times in our head and our will.
My definition:
What you show on the outside shows perfectly what Christ is.
The word made flesh. John 1:14
You are the word made flesh to all who see you.
Ezekiel 36:26–28 NASB95
26 “Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 “I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances. 28 “You will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God.
The promise land speaks more than of a place, but of a way of living from your heart where Holy Spirit lives.
Our want to is our heart and it is of stone or flesh.
Closing:
Holy Spirit is key to moving into what Father has for humanity.
This current move of God we are in is dependent on us being submerged in Holy Spirit.
The Gifts of Holy Spirit are for Father to be known.
The Gifts of Holy Spirit are for us to be the Glory of Father
Holy Spirit wants to bring fruit in your life and for those you are witnesses too.
Gifts are in you and brought to you.
Who comes to mind?
Make space this week to seek out Holy Spirit in the areas you wrote down.
Who wants to be baptized in Holy Spirit?
Who wants a fresh baptism in Holy Spirit?
Romans 8:1–17 NASB95
1 Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. 3 For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, 7 because the mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him. 10 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. 12 So then, brethren, we are under obligation, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh— 13 for if you are living according to the flesh, you must die; but if by the Spirit you are putting to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. 15 For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!” 16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.
