Good morning, friends, we’re so glad you have tuned in to hear God’s Precepts and Promises this morning brought to you by the Rome Church of Christ.
We’re examining Christianity systematically--taking all the Bible has to say on a subject and putting it together as best as possible.

Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: Thou hast received gifts for men; Yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.
The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Q: Will Jesus return to the earth?
A: He will come again (Acts 1:11), but no passage tells us he will set foot on earth again. The saints will meet Him in the air (1 Thess 4:17)
The significance of Jesus’ Ascension
Christ interceding for the Christian (Rom 8:34; Heb 7:25)
We reigning with Christ now (Eph 2:6)
Guarantees our ascension (1 Thess 4:17; Jn 14:2-3)
CONCLUSION
Sum: The resurrection of Christ took place as predicted, in a bodily, glorified form, and was witnessed by sufficient witnesses.
