Welcome.
This is a church of Messiah.
I'm Rob Wilson one of the teaching Elders calls the other one.
He's not in the room right now.
I've got something to hand out here and I'm going to get hand out gifts of the Spirit cards that are going to be talking about a lot of signs and wonders.
And one thing, That thank you one thing that I get into conversations with other Christians from time to time they say, okay, those are gifts of the Spirit but they're then they're not the sign gifts.
And I go.
No, they're all sign gifts.
So if you have the Holy Spirit present in your life in any way, it is a sign gift and you should Realize that and walk around bearing, the signs.
Amen.
Raise the banners High.
So we're entering into a feast season and the church.
The Messiah Banner came to mind like that and
Beast several years ago, I was overwhelmed and cried on the stage because I realized we were camping under the banners of our fathers houses.
Our father helped us to create those banners.
These are in Insignia other ensigns, their Flags.
They're not just Flags.
There's signs and I knew that But this week's Torah reading kind of nailed it for me.
I'm using a slightly different New Testament.
Verse is everything else is consistent with our schedule.
Flags and Banners.
So a little more on this later.
But flags are generally translated Daigle and Banners in in this in this seder and others sometimes they're translated o Thoth.
Does the word oat raised an issue with any Christians.
Any people who study Hebrew at all What soap mean?
Signs Miracles, wonders.
Signs and wonders oats.
Oh, tote.
So in this week's Torah reading, we will in last week's we're told a camp by companies, Savannah.
So we sometimes sing a song with the word, I do nights about anyone.
Remember singing that I do nights, a vote, praise to God, it means the, the and when you see it, translated its the lord of the Legions.
The, the Lord of hosts, you remember the term Lord of hosts.
Okay, we'll survive the word.
Doesn't mean hosts doesn't mean Legions.
It means the commanded ones.
Even better.
I don't know, I'd say V, the lord of the commanded ones.
So can't fight companies.
Those who are commanded.
Each in his own camp in his own place.
My honey is another word mick I named.
This is the place where Jacob was wrestling with the angel and they call the name of the place peniel, canavial the face of God.
But the night before he been wrestling and he was in a in a place of multiple camps, make a name some place or Camp each by his own standard Big L Flagg numbers 152 this week we get a new a new wrinkle each by his own standard.
It kind of continues with the verse from last week, Big L flag on or long with the banners.
The out of The oats.
Not Quaker.
Oats.
though, some claim that's miraculous to nevermind.
Danner's signs of their fathers houses Camp facing the tent of meeting on every side.
So that's the Torah reading.
That's the hook words kind of for me.
God commands them to march according to an order.
so, according to that order first When they're marching, you have Aaron and his sons in the ark.
and then you have the first tribe.
These are kind of like the sons of Leah.
And these are kind of like the sons of Rachel.
And so after the sons of Leo, you have the gershonites And then the, and then oh, I'm sorry, the arc and Aaron's sons.
Then the first tribe, then the second tribe, the sons of Rachel kind of GAD is handmaiden of of Rachel.
Here's the other sons of the handmaiden of reach of handmaidens and so would be followed by the gershonites in the Miranda Rights.
Those are there Rachel's kids to
Lady Soul is Liz, Liz except for this one.
This one had to be kind of submitted substituted because the Levites were her other son and so they had to bring one of the handmaiden sons over to fill the fill the Gap.
So after the second or the gershonites numeral rights then the Third
Sons of Leah and then the court sites.
And Then followed by.
The fourth set of tribes as chardin enough to lie.
What can we learn from this?
I don't know.
You can study in a long time and think about it, I can tell you one thing that I've learned from it and that's what tribes do.
I identify with do identify with any tribes at all.
I kind of do.
Judah, what's Judah known for?
Praise.
Am I involved in that?
How many years did I play?
Praise and worship music.
The 55 anyway.
Yeah.
Easter car is known to have been.
A study, a student of of of Torah we have in the Bible.
It says the sons of issachar knew the signs of the times and what to do.
How can you know the signs of the times?
Without studying God's word, you can't, they knew the signs of the times because they study God's word and when you're studying God's word, sometimes you're not making a lot of money, right?
So what's the Buell in known for?
We're going to say shipping.
This is really weird.
Zebulon is known for shipping and worldwide Commerce but their tribe was nowhere near the ocean.
True.
So they, they would go to work and the ships and, and, and Merchants and self sell things, and tradition, holds that cebule one.
Helps fund is a car's life.
The guy who work for a living.
Funded the life of the guy who studied for a living and those three, the one with praise those three March together.
So identify with the tribe particularly of Judah of Zebulon.
I work for a living and a cigar, I study a lot.
So that's what I learn from it.
What, what else can we learn from it?
I don't know.
Anyway, that's the encampment.
The way it was camped on the East.
You can see the East over there.
