The Return to Get Jacob

Loaded with gifts.

Admonished not to argue along the way.

The response of Jacob to the news was shock!

God met Jacob at the “old home place” where Abraham had lived.

A promise of His presence, His provision for a great nation, and the return to the Promised land.

Jacob went down to Egypt and counting Joseph’s clan there were 70 people (plus wives).

God provided a good land for them to live in, until the promised land was ready. God provides for His people in the midst of hard times.

God restored a relationship that seemed to be lost forever. God is able to restore that which seems lost.

God made them a great nation in the land of Egypt. Num 1:46 “All those listed were 603,550.” God prepares His people for His coming promise.
