What does satan do When he sees God’s people working.?
tries to destroy or break up.
gnostism going on. denying matter was altogether evil. a real incarnated Jesus was impossible.
This is what satan does subtle. doesnt deny Jesus. Satan is the father of lies gives a twisted truth.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

beware watch out
A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.
We need to be good christian
1 Thess 5:21
Test everything Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.
If we allow these false teacher to influence different people in the church it can destroy the the church or and people.!

Fruits of the Spirit
Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
Likewise every good fruit bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.

The Holy Spirit gives us the power to discern from false prophets. It gives us power to resist satan.
By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
Jesus became fully man and is fully God

You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
You christians are of God
and have overcome the them( non believers) we need not fear the victory over all the evil powers have been won. They did what they thought was destroying them killing him oh victory where is your sting? no matter how things look . the holy spirit is in us and he has conquered death. We just need to remember this and cling to it.
The world...
will not listen or accept the true Christians beliefs. They hear and believe what they want to.
We hear God’s voice. He is our shephard and and we are his people.
John again is black and white hearing the truth and their source is God and the world who is incapable of hearing the truth.
Love is the evidence of our faith
