Intro:
What is the best way to prove a point - give an example right?
Especially if people are unwilling to believe your claim, whether you are true or false, by giving an example of your claim, you hearers will know the truth.
For example I can build a chicken coop.
Don’t believe me just looky here (show pictures)
Jesus was telling them that His teachings were true and that He was power of the physical because He believed and was from the Spiritual.
He was also trying to lead them all, including the leaders, into repentance, we see this in John 7:19 then we see it played out at the end of Chapter 7 and into Chapter 8.
He proves the point in the woman who was brought to Him for condemnation.
He showed them they absolutely didn’t know the Law of God, only knew some words and instructions put on a piece of paper.
