Verse 1
Jerusalem is the city of Kings.
Jesus us coming down into Jerusalem.
Verse 2-4
Jesus is outright proclaiming that He is the messiah.
There is no doubt in my mind that He is the saviour.

it appears to me that the people who are looking on
Verses 5-11
The Daughter of Zion refers to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
this refers to the messiah.

this would be a way to keep the colt calm.

Hosanna means Lord ‘help’ or save us.
Son of David is a Messianic Title.
Here we have Jesus full knowing that He was engaging His Path to the Cross.
