Come O King of Glory!

A Psalm of David. The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein. For He has founded it upon the seas, And established it upon the waters. Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. We Need a Divine INTERVENTION!

We no longer understand the difference between right and wrong, good and evil, integrity and corruption, righteousness and justice, honor and dishonor, good government and bad government, law keeping and lawlessness, or man and woman.

We don’t understand the difference between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness.

A divine intervention will mean a divine encounter.

A divine encounter will mean a divine disruption.

Are we ready for a divine encounter with the King of Glory?

Who is the King of Glory?

Psalm 24:8 NKJV

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle.

Psalm 24:10 NKJV

Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah

What Will His Coming Mean?

The judgment, purification, and redemption of His people.

The judgment and destruction of His enemies.

1 Peter 4:17 NKJV

For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

Isaiah 59:15–21 NKJV

So truth fails, And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Then the Lord saw it, and it displeased Him That there was no justice. He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him. Malachi 3:1–5 NKJV

“Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the Lord of hosts. “But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner’s fire And like launderers’ soap. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the Lord An offering in righteousness. “Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem Will be pleasant to the Lord, As in the days of old, As in former years. Have We PREPARED our Hearts?

The LORD told Israel to prepare themselves for His coming.

Exodus 19:9–11 NKJV

And the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I come to you in the thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you forever.” So Moses told the words of the people to the Lord. Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes. And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

Who may stand in His presence?

Psalm 24:3–6 NKJV

Have We OPENED the Door?

The LORD must be invited and welcomed in our midst.

Revelation 3:20 NKJV

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.

Psalm 24:7 NKJV

Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.

Come O King of Glory!

Embrace the fear of the LORD who is holy, strong, and mighty.

Repent of sin, pride, compromise, and excuses.

Prepare your heart to seek the LORD and to stand in His presence.

Open the door to welcome the King and His kingdom.

Allow the King to sit on the throne of your heart.
