Psalm 118
Rejected
The events of that Sunday didn’t lead where you might expect.
There was always a group that rejected Jesus no matter what He did.
Jesus knew what was coming and moved forward with it.
Become the Cornerstone
Jesus is the piece that holds the church together. (Eph. 2:20)
God’s work was so marvelous that to others it even seemed foolish. (1 Cor. 1:18)
We know Jesus’ work was successful because He rose from
the dead.
Bring Rejoicing
We must not disconnect vs24 from the passage.
We can face each day knowing Jesus was rejected for us and is our cornerstone.
Our rejoicing will depend on our perspective of the marvelous work of God.
