Was telling me this morning in your Bibles to Matthew chapter 10? Matthew chapter 10, we're going to look at a portion of scripture and 9:25. I'm going to talk about this discipleship thing that each and every one of us ought to be striving, to do to learn more about Jesus to grow with him and to be more like him. Matthew 10:25, we read this this word. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher and a servant that he be like his master. It is enough for disciple that he be like his teacher and a servant that he be like his master. Is that enough for you? To strive to be like Jesus, it is, is that enough that does that get your attention?

Being with Jesus. Means that we're going to learn from Jesus. And how to be like Jesus. In fact, when Jesus began his public Ministry is three years of public Ministries, about the age of 29 somewhere around there. He called together 12 guys to come and follow him into walk with him in this life Journey for the three years of his public Ministry. And we, we've heard about these guys week. We know some of their names. We might not know all their names, but we also know that not each and every one of these guys that he had called to walk with him. For those three years were, perfect men. I mean, we, we have a Judas involved. And that the 12 do we not I don't know, too many people who have used that name for their children. Right. It's just not one that you would really look at 2. See the glory of a child with a name like that.

Not too many people would go in that direction and that would because they they're they're the fact of what it stands for. But I don't know any children named Judas. I know some adults who sometimes might act like a Judas. Any of, you know, any of those folks who whoever they may be. I don't know, but, but Jesus uses all people to accomplish his will. To accomplish what's being done in the world around us? And I hear is all the time as churches that as people say well we we we need you to pray for Laborers. We need more service week. We need more people to to do the work at and that's true, we do.

But if we start to pray for Laborers, we need to beware. Because you may become the answer to your own prayer. If you're willing to do, what God has called you to do, looking for someone to Matthew chapter 10, and when he had left, he called his twelve disciples to him. He gave them power over clean, unclean spirits to cast them out, and the hill, all kinds of sicknesses and all kinds of diseases. We, we see these words. Therefore, pray, the Lord of the Harvest to send out laborers into his Harvest.

I've heard in a lot of churches. I've heard of a lot of people pray for. God to send laborers into the Harvest.

But some of those same people when asked to do something I like and it's it's not in my wheelhouse and it's not one of my talents. It, it is not something I can do. But look at that verse 12, chapter 10 again and look at something that he shares with us in there. And when he had called his 12 disciples to him, he gave them what Power. It's not your power. It's not my power. It's a power that God gives us to do the work. He's called each and every one of us as Believers to do.

Believe it or not. It's Spring, right? I've heard that rumor. I'm waiting for some warmer weather. Today is not one of those days next couple days and may not be, but warmer weather is on its way. So I hear And you begin to Jared about planting things at and taking care of things. And if people say, well, wait till the weather is consistent and it's warm enough and you plant this and you plant that in those of you who began your plan things earlier seedlings. You don't got, your Greenhouse is all set up whether it's outside or inside wherever it is, you understand some of that ability to grow a seed. Really has nothing to do with you all. We can plant it, we can put it where it needs to be to get it, positive and ready to go. We can water and we can fertilize it, but that's really all we can do. We cannot make that seed. Grow. Only God can God is the one who gives the power to that seed to begin to grow and go forth and then our own life when we began to look at these things and to understand that well, I have abilities, I have talents. Why isn't God using my ability? Why isn't God using my talents? Some of that, maybe because we're striving to do it on our own. And not with the power of God.

You look that have been in this church for many years. And those of you who have only been in this church, a short time. You've heard my story. Pretty my, my stories haven't changed its white pastures change churches. Lots of their stories are new to people. My stories are 30 years old, a man. My wife tells me that you've told us that story. I don't know how many times that's all. You'll probably hear it again over the next 30 Years. See what I did there. I'm not going anywhere. Unless God takes me out. That's not my plan. But here's the thing.

This is not what I wanted to be doing when I was 18 years of age. Standing in front of a church sharing, the word of God is not the desire that I had. Is what I knew. God was calling me to. But it wasn't my desire. There were other things that I wanted to do. There were other places I wanted to go. There was a lot of other things I wanted to be able to accumulate in my life that I didn't think I could do in this position that I grew up in church. My father was a minister. I know how this works. It's it's been a part of my life, all of my life. Today, 18 years of age. When were beginning to think of the direction that we may want to go. We're getting on a high school. What do I do from here? Do I go into the military or do I do? I go to college or do I just go and learn a trade and apply that trade? If you had something that you really desire to do that, there was something that you really wanted to learn, you would go and you would learn whatever that was to the best of your ability and then strive to apply it. Nurses would go off to nursing school, right? Welders would go up and learn how to weld and maybe they've been learning all all along in life. But now it's, it's time to put that trade, apply that trade to where somebody Would reimburse us for it. I remember seeing something on social media about a welder. And he welded up to head to do a little test for the company that was trying to hire him. So we did a real quick to weld test and it was welded together one. Look, terrible. The other one was just perfect lines all the way up through.

the boss looked at him and said, well, Why, why did you give me these two? Welding patterns. He said, well, you're you're looking for somebody for $16. Now that bad one. That's a $16, an hour job. And the nice one. That's the $40 an hour job. You choose. Which one do you want, right? Nothing in life, is this. When we have become a child of God, when we give God our life. We should not be giving him the $16 an hour job. We need to be giving him what our best do the best that we can. And if our best looks like the 16-hour, whatever. God knows that's our best. It's not your power. It's the power that he is given to us. It's the power that is given to the apostles to go forth to do the work because when we sit around and we're praying for God to send the laborers into the Harvest, if we're not willing to go, What, what are we really praying for? Not me. Lord. Send somebody else. What if Jesus said that, not me Father God, I'm not going to that cross. That was his human prayer in the garden, right? Lord, I know what's before me. I know what's coming in the Garden of Gethsemane as he's praying before they came and took him away. Lord, if there's any other way for this account for this come to pass away, but this copy taken away. Let somebody something else. Take that place, but he didn't stop there. Did he? He said not my will do Lord dying be done. And when we do the will of God

He blesses us. Here's what we do. We pray? And then we are sent out to wherever he wants us to go to whomever. He puts us in charge of. Some of these instructions that we find a verses 5 through verse 15 of Matthew chapter 10. They applied mainly to the apostles. Some of those who were for those who serving just before the Lord returns. We see that in verse 16, through verse 23. But the spiritual principles are here for each and every one of God's servants. So I wanted to go back to verse five. It certainly looking through this a little bit and see what it is. It got to say first five, Matthew chapter 10. These twelve Jesus sent out in command of them, sing. Do not go into the way of the Gentiles and do not enter the city of the Samaritans, but go rather to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. And as you go preach, saying, the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. He'll sick cleanse the lepers. Raise the Dead cast out demons freely. You have received freely. Give stop right there for a second. Freely, you have received.

Keep it all to yourself. That's not what he says to him. Is it? Freely, you have received freely give but what he says. In verse 9 provide neither gold nor silver or copper in your money belts, nor bad for your journey, North to tunics. North handles North staff. For a worker is worthy of his food. Now, whatever city or town, you enter in to inquire who in it is worthy and stay there till you go out. And when you go into a household, read it at the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever will not receive you, nor hear your words. When you depart from that house or city shake off the dust from your feet, or surely I say it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that City. That's quite a statement there that last verse. More tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrah than for that City, but I wanted to focus on something here. God is saying to the apostles. Okay, I've called you, I've asked you to come and do the work. I want you to do. Don't do it. Don't go home and get your money on your Banks. Don't worry about that. Don't go pack a bag. Don't worry about that. Don't call ahead and get a hotel reservation. I mean, Jesus himself knew that didn't always work, right? You're going there's no room in the end. Anyway. Just go. Golf and God will provide.

Do you believe that today? Do you believe that if God was calling you to go somewhere to do a specific tasks of specific work that if you went. And you followed his guys, in his Direction, he would provide.

He has. He's provided for each and every one of us here today. There have been times in your life as I'm sure where where you didn't know how this was going to work out how it was going to go, what was going to take place, and maybe in that little bit of faith that we have within a, we stopped. It was okay. God, you got to go before me cuz I don't know how it's going. And he does. Either opens the door for you. Or closes the door for you. Have you ever noticed that to be true? I have in my life. Got it. This is what you want me to do, open the door wide. And then I get to the place where I've asked God and there's no door. I'm confused in the open. It wider is just no door and I still have to make a decision. Sometimes, God allows us to make those decisions. But those decisions that we make need to be based upon what he has shared with us. In his work. Freely. You have received freely give

If you and I as a people, if we as a nation want God's total blessing upon us. We need to heed his word. Otherwise, we could end up like Sodom and Gomorrah. We know those cities were Wicked cities, terrible cities. People would go there. They wanted to live there. Why? So they could partake of the wickedness of those cities? The scripture tells us that God destroyed those cities totally.

Christ wants us as he tells us a state too. Freely. Give to others. Husbands freely give to your wives really give to your children. Why is really give to your your husband and your children freely? Give to those around you? What does that mean? That means if I have something and somebody else needs it, I need to be willing. To give. The problem is in the society that we live today. There are a lot of takers aren't there. There. A lot of takers and we have haven't really felt like, well, I had to work for everything I have and there's nothing that anybody has ever given to me, but they have everything that you have. God has allowed you to get God has given you the ability, whatever, trade, whatever, purpose, whatever reason for your life. God has given you an ability. I know many people with more than one ability. They they've gone to school for this and they did it until they. They enjoyed it and then they didn't enjoy it anymore. So they learn something else. They went to school for that and they're doing that till it runs out, and then they'll do something else, and that's okay. That's okay. We need people that have abilities. We need people that have talent. But what about tapping into the talent that God has for you? Lord. What would you have me to do? Lord, where would you have me? To go. Look at something at the apostles had the power to do Miracles. It wasn't, their power was the power given to them. How by God is planting that seed, Allowing God to do his part. But even giving a cup of cold water. Is service to the Lord. Did you know that verse 42? Look at that. Jump down the verse 42 and whoever gives one of these little ones, only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple of Shirley. I say to you he should by no means lose his reward.

What if you and I today? What if you and I right now got as excited as these kids were singing songs jumping up and down, waving her hands in the air clapping. And learning. About God.

We can't do that because we get older and it's what I'm doing. Now. What's this about? This is not a usual Sunday morning service didn't get the same for hims. I'm going to do a praise and worship song.

What's this church turning into?

That's nobody in this group. That was the group that came, right? But, let's be honest. We feel that way, sometimes, don't we? When things aren't normal.

Here's a everybody sitting, where they normally said. Anyway, just a few rows back. Am I right? Except for those of you who said a few rows back. You're like you're too close to the front. Where's all the chat? What? What's going on?

It's trying to get an excitement and excitement about understanding. What this discipleship was. All about. Discipleship is not for someone else. It's for us. First and foremost and we learn we grow. And what do we do? Then? We share what we have learned, what we grow with with the things of God to those around us.

Let me share with you again being with Jesus. To learn from Jesus, how to be like Jesus.

Got up. Being with Jesus, how, how can I be with Jesus? Well, when we gather together on a Sunday morning or any other time, Scripture says Jesus has there. Am I in the mist of you? Where two or three are gathered in my name? He says, I am there, but guess what? When I'm all alone and I'm calling out to him. He's their wife because he's within me, I gave him my life many, many years ago, at the age of seven. How many of you were raised up in church? Right. Okay, you got it. That's the only remember that you want that. Raise your hand anymore. How many of you somewhere along your life as you got old enough? Walk away from church and God did I say you didn't have to raise your hand to some reason? Same on? Our Lives. Maybe that has happened. but then something comes along and Tweets are memory again and says, you know what life was far greater for me when I was serving God and going to church and then out here on my own sort of a prodigal son, Moma, right? Dad, I'm old enough. Or I've served you all of my life. I've been here and I just want my wealth so I can go off and live my own life and Dad. Really didn't want to do it. But he knew it was a sign. So it's okay. Well, here it is. Here's your part of the farm. Here's your part of all the things that you have established in this place. Don't spend it wisely.

Any parent would tell their child that right? The child goes off. The prodigal son goes off. We know what scripture says, he lived his life and riotous living and as long as he had money in his pocket. He had friends. As long as he could be the life of the party and pay for everything. Everybody was there. But the moment he ran out in the moment. He began to have to depend on others around him. Where did they go?

And he found himself. In the pigpen of Life. Literally in a pig, pen feeding pigs looking at the food. He was giving to the pigs. And say, you know what? That looks pretty good. I might have some of that, I'm starving. And then he comes to his senses.

Back home with Dad. The servants have food on their table. And there's no food left over after they're done. I'm out here. I'm starving. I'm looking to eat after the pigs Now. Understand Jesus as he shares his story. Walk in the 75 Mi radius. So he may be, was give me the Liberty to say. It was probably a Jewish young man. Looking at eating with the pigs were eating taking care of Gentiles farmer course, cuz Jews would have nothing to do with pigs. They were unclean. But yet. He was going to eat what they were eating. Remembering back home with Dad. Life wasn't so bad. That had Pony Frozen. The servants had plenty of food. I'm going to go back home and I'm going to tell Dad that. I'm sorry. I've sinned before God, and before you make me as one of your hired servants. We don't know how long the sun was gone, but long enough for the dad to be able to share with the older son while your brother. His lost your brother is dead, not knowing but when the son came home and dad so I can run out to him, brother got upset because now dad's taking care of little brother. Here. I am take care of the farm all my life. You've never kill a fatted calf for me, Dad. Your brother who is lost is found your brother who is dead is alive. Song. Look around everything to the older son. Everything that you see around you is yours. Your brother went off. He spent his living, his wealth on riotous living. Now. He's got to come back. He's got to come back in and start from scratch. He's still my son that has changed, but the wealth The well that I have for him the work that he was to be doing not to gain his salvation or to gain his childhood, his position in the family, but the wealth because of who he is. He is a part of the family. He's got to build back up. Did you feel that way when you walked away from God? Your way home. Hey, things are good. Things are. Good them, boom, something hits. And how do I live? How do I get through this? Who do I turn to? And we get to that point, we realized only when we got to turn to his guy. If you're up there, if you're still listen to me, I'm down here and he knows that he knows you, he knows me. Nothing takes God by surprise. He's the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning, and the end. He knows the beginning of our life. He knows the end of our lives. He knows everything in between, and he allows trials and tribulations. To come our way. Why wouldn't God protect us from his? Why wouldn't God save us from this trouble? For the same reason. He didn't save his son for going to the cross. His son died. For you. And for me, he lay down his life that whosoever believes in Him. Should not perish but have everlasting life.

The difference between The Son of God, Jesus Christ in you and me is when we die. We're putting a grave. Right. We don't expect to be resurrected three days later and walking on this Earth or God can do whatever God wants to do that. Be a miracle, wouldn't it? We don't expect that to happen. We know that what scripture says absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. If we know Jesus as our Lord and savior, if we don't, then there's a separation. If there's a heaven, there's got to be a hell. If there's a hell, there's got to be a heaven. We are putting one up to places when we die heaven or hell. And that choice is yours in mine to make

Well, what do you mean? Well, just by believing that there's a God, doesn't save us. I can believe I am a multi-millionaire.

That doesn't make it happen. Check my bank account. Hey, I was rolling quarters this past week. How many millionaires do that? That's maybe that's why they're millionaires. I don't know.

Spiritually. I can get us places in the world who can get us in trouble, right? Got the prodigal son in trouble. There's nothing wrong with having that stuff to. Okay. Flashlight backup. Why were you rolling quarters or things? That bad know, things are not that bad. A few weeks with our next to be 10 year old grandchild Quentin. We're going to Montana. Yellowstone, okay. Okay. Okay, because that's his and my Mad Money.

Well, how much is it? None of your business? I don't even think I told my wife. It's all right. Mad Money. Quentin. You want something. There's how much I got to spend on whatever Madness. We want to get into. So we might buy him some Buffalo chips. He's like, what's a Buffalo Chip? How do you live on a farm? Write a cow. Chip? What's a cow chip? I don't know what the world. Our parents are teaching their kids. These days. I know what a couch it was from a very early age because I fell in a few of them.

When you fall in a few of them, you know. Cuz it stays with you that smell and that stench for a while. This was don't believe me. Just walk in the Stuart some morning. After milk, and he'll understand. So what is it that God when we can't buy it. We can't buy the Salvation. It it's already been paid for Jesus, died on the cross for you. And for me, and the only difference between Jesus and three days later, he rose again, any Whitney showed himself to others as proof. We either believe that are we don't, and if you don't believe that, Then why do we celebrate Christmas? And why do we celebrate Easter? Why do we do these things? What What God Says? He says, you're going to have this power. He gave them power and verse one. Over the things of the world, the unclean spirits to cast, out to heal, all kinds of all kinds of diseases. The power is not yours. A power is not mine. To power is God, and it's ours to plug into. And he will help us. He will guide us and he will direct us. I shared this illustration this morning. Have you ever had a lamp in your house? That didn't work and then you change the bulbs in that bulb didn't work and you fiddle with the switch and the switch not working and you look like what in the world. Are you take that Bob and you throw it in the garbage? Cuz none of the bulbs in the house or working.

And you go, when you take that to happen, you're going to fix it. And as you take it off the table, you realize it's never been plugged in.

Call or maybe if you're in your house, like it might be in my house. It's plugged in but the wall switch is not on to give that lights power. So when you walk into that room, you can flip the switch and that light comes on. The power is not to the light because we are not plugged into the source correctly. Many times, we only plug into God when we need something from him, not this group of the 8:30 group.

God, it's me again. I have a daily dialogue with. If we are to be talkin with him, allowing him to guide us and directions to realize everything that we have. It's from him. John 3:27 says, a man can receive nothing unless it's been given to him from heaven. What do I have of my own? Nothing? Nothing that I have is my own is all been given to me from him. God gives us the ability to to learn a trade. God gives us the breath everyday, there to go out and do the work. And yes, some days. He may slow us down. Some days or maybe something that happens that gets our attention and slows us down from what we normally would do. And that's not always a bad thing. It makes us recalculate Where We Are. 1st Corinthians chapter 4 verse 7 says, what do you have that? You did not receive? What do you have? That you did not receive. We learn a trade. We apply our trade, we receive pay for that trade. We receive it. Who gave us that pay? Well, our bosses, but who gave us the ability to learn that trade. God gave us that job. I have to say, God did. God did my life is always been want to say. Okay, got if you want me to go in this direction, if you want me to go on that, drink or you open the door, you close the doors. I will do whatever you want me to do. Don't say that to God, unless you mean it. Cuz if you don't mean it and got open some doors for you, it can get very confusing. And yes, sometimes when you do minute and got over some doors for you. It can get very confusing. 36 years ago when we moved to New York and and I share with my family, they were we're moving to New York and I share with the church in Kansas. We were at that. They were moving to New York there. A lot of confusing things we can get thrown at me. While why can't you start a church here in Kansas? Why can't you stay here and miniature in another town?

I was like, I don't know. Why. Why? Why can't I? Because that's not what God called me. That's really what it came down to. Will pass play way to God? Call you, he called us a New York. Why I have no earthly idea. Other than to meet you folks. I'm glad you did. I'm glad that 36 years ago when Lori and I listen to that call of God. And we, we came to New York and 36 years later. Here. We are Ministry. Yes. God can move it someplace else. I'm not looking for that. But he can got to take me out in a heartbeat or lack thereof. You know what I mean? I'm not looking for that but I'm not afraid of that day, either. When my life is over. Why? Because I know absent from the body is to be present with the Lord because I gave my life to him. And every now and then. Every now and then Pastor Clyde tries to take it back a little bit to do my thing. And when I try to run my own life and not rely upon God, I turn it into a royal mess. You know what kind of mess that is. Well, let me explain it to you. I'm not a mechanic. But I can work on your car.

I can. It might not run as good as it did after I work on it. I probably won't. But I can work on it. I can take things apart. I can put things back together. Whether their tweets are right way or games the right way anybody's guess. You should be easier to work on cars. A few years ago.

Ibotta.

Oldsmobile for my dad. 1972, Delta 88 Oldsmobile. That was my chick magnet. That's how I won Lori over to my side. Put that car to college. That car was running a little strange, one day. So I take it to her garage at Town garage there and the guy, check the motor for me. And here's what I saw him do. You got a big long screwdriver and he put the screwdriver on the, the head, the block of of the lawn mower and the car. I see him do this. He puts his ear right down on the handle. I'm like, what in the world is this guy doing? Yeah, you got a ticket in there. Okay. The old hundreds of dollars later, which I didn't have it. I didn't pay it to get. These telling me, this is what it's going to cost $100 you. We can fix this for you. That's why I don't have hundreds of dollars. So I guess I'll have to take my chances. I went home. Do that car home when the girls got a long screwdriver. Pop the hood of that car up. Put that screwdriver on her and listen to said, I don't hear a thing.

Okay, God, you got this cuz I don't have the money to pay for it. and if it blows our balls,

Never Blue, 5 years later, I sold a car to a guy in college. He wrecked it 3 days after I sold it to him. Left it on the side of the road, still registered in my name. I get this ticket eventually. From the police department saying, my car is been an impounded and you owe x amount of dollars.

And I went over to see my college, buddy. Has anybody little upset? Hey, buddy? Where is the Oldsmobile? It's not my car. It's his I was making sure I didn't see my car. Where is the Oldsmobile? Why? Cuz I got this letter that they tracked down to me. Hear College. Say it is sitting in impound at the police department and you all x amount of dollars. He never registered it, never change anything over, just wrecked it and left it on the side of the road. Oh. What you going to do about it? Christian brother.

He took care of it. but only because sometimes, I think because I confronted him on it.

Don't you hate it when God confront you. And you realize there's got to be some changes and needs to be some changes in my life.

Christ doesn't promise US an easy life, looking for a 16 through verse 25. Look what he says he heard Matthew chapter 10. Behold. I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Oh boy. Sounds like fun, right? Therefore be wise as serpents harmless as doves. Bobby word, man. For they will deliver you up to councils and scored you in their synagogues. You will be brought before Governors and Kings for my sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. Why is he trials and tribulations going to happen? So you can be a testimony? Kings until the Gentiles to others around who are watching how you react.

Verse 19, but when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak for. It will be given to you in that hour. What you should speak for. It is not you who speak but the spirit of your father, who speaks in you? My brother will deliver up brother to death and a father. His child and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for my namesake. But he who endures to the end will be saved when they persecute you in the city. Please do another for. Surely I say to you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israel before. The son of man comes a disciple, is not above his teacher, nor servant above his master. It is enough for disciple, that he be like his teacher and a servant like his master. Who are we to be like? Jesus, who are we learn from Jesus? Will follow him. Be what he's called us to be.

If they have called The Master of the House, Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household? Therefore, do not fear them for there is nothing. Covered that will not be revealed and hidden. That will not be known. So God is saying, once we become a child of God, there's going to be no troubles, right? There's going to be no issues. No trials. No tribulations. That's not what he's saying. You will be like sheep, going out before wolves. They won't look at you to try to tear you to pieces that are you down to keep you from prospering? And we see that in places around us. We can see a little bit of that as as the world around us is looking at Chris yeti in the always, try to get rid of Christians. I'm back from the very beginning of Christ's life that begin to get rid of Christ. And then in his ministry, a three-year Ministry at the age of 29 as he would go from place to place. People would gather those who gather to listen to him all, those who would gather to try to get to him, to put him to death. Read the New Testament to see over and over in the gospels, how he says, now is not the time, now is not the time, now is not the time, and he would, he would depart from that place. And safety to minister again. Another day. Until we get to that place in the upper room. Right before his betrayal. When is the apostles come together with him and they're there and he's ministering to them? It says, listen guys. The time has come for the son of man to be offered up. Go and do. What I called you to do. Go and do the ministry that you are supposed to do for some of you will betray me. And Peter speeds up. Lord, I would never betray you. I would never deny you. And Jesus said to Peter, that night what Peter tonight before the cock crows three times. Before the cock crows twice, you will deny me three times you. And before the morning came three times, Peter denied his Lord and his savior. Does that mean he wasn't believe it does that mean he has no, hold of that mean, he's got to know. That means that God knows you. I mean that God knows me. He knows each and every one of us. The beginning. Indian. He knows where we end up. Cuz he Jesus was taking that night. He was beating the next day. He was crucified in the whole world by and saw him on that cross.

He was taken down from that cross. He was put into a tomb in three days later. He rose again.

And he walked. To those that he loved and cared for one being Peter. Peter has left Peter gone back to working a, the Nets into as a fisherman. Why? Because he had messed up. Jesus knew I would deny him in here. I am. I said, I wouldn't I did. I must be a rotten person.

Jesus walked up to Peter calls his name and Peter knows that police Peter. Yes, Lord. Peter, do you love me? Lord, you know that. I love you and Peter. Go feed my sheep. Second time, Peter. Do you love me? Yes, Lord, you know I love you. Take care of my Lambs. Peter do you love me? Lord, you know, I do. I said it twice already. That we've been there, right? Take care of my most prized possession, my children feed them provide for them. God is saying the same thing to you and to me. You say the same thing to you as a disciple as he saying to Peter saying it to me. Listen, we have an opportunity to plant the seeds of those around us. My wife loves doing that. It's that time of year. We plant a garden pea plant flowers, in the flower garden. We plant vegetables with it. We don't have the flower garden fence then but we had the vegetable Spence and white because the critters like to get in there and partake. How about hard labor? I should say. Her hard labor. I go out and pick the things. I I don't have a green thumb. I most my most stuff. So I I buy mode flowers over that. I didn't know, we're planted in a certain place. I don't know that I've ever gotten to the garden and Moses something and vegetables up, but I just mowing right, usually. I got earbuds in and headphones on and I'm listen to some Gospel Music sing-along.

I got the joy. Joy joy. Joy, where? Down in my heart. There's something goes flat. So I wonder what that plant was. I find out.

I can't make them grow week. We put a fence around the vegetable garden to keep the critters out. Why? Because we don't like going out there and find that are broccoli has been chewed all down. Though, I don't like broccoli. Anyway. What I do. I don't like peas. I'll mow them over.

I don't like cranberry sauce, so I don't have to worry about mowing those.

God makes it grow. Our responsibility is to go and plant the seeds wherever we go. God will do the rest in the best way for us to plant. The seed is living our life. So others can see Christ in us. And if necessary use words,

If necessary use words, trust God, he will guide. He will direct Flippin 3:10 and the fellowship of his sufferings. That's what he wants. He wants us to know him. He wants us to trust in him. But look what he says, plug into the power. Because being with Jesus helps us to learn from Jesus and helps us to know how to be like Jesus. Who do you follow? Who's important to you?

Few years ago. There is a saying. Like Mike, I want to be like Mike. Michael Jordan, the basketball player. I wouldn't mind being like Mike, but that's not where I'm stopping. I'd rather be like Jesus. Because I can do all things through Christ. Who strengthens me? Father. We thank you. We. Thank you for your goodness and your love. We thank you for the way that you provide. Father, you know, the needs in each life that are here today, you know, the burdens that he chart is dealing with help us ale those Burns at your feet. Help us to share our needs with you. Only you can supply and when you supply those needs rightly, we are blessed people direct us in the path. You want us to go in Jesus name? We pray and
