He is seated, his work of accomplishing salvation for sinners is complete.
He is at the right hand of “the Majesty in the heavens.” A Heavenly Ministry!
His Authentic Service

His ministry is in the “true tabernacle, built by God.”
His service is in that which is really real. Out of the shadowlands - This earth is but a mere shadow and copy of that which is eternal. It is real, but that which is really real is eternal. “The dream is ended: this is the morning” - C.S. Lewis, the Last Battle
2 cor 5:1-5 “For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, 3 if indeed by putting it on we may not be found naked. 4 For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. 5 He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.”
It is a better covenant built on better promises!

The Seven Previous Covenants of Scripture:
Creation - Genesis 1:27-28 “27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”” Genesis 2:16-18 Marriage, Family, and Work
Adamic - Genesis 3:15 “15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.””
Noahic - Genesis 8:20-9:11. The Seasons continue, no more global flood.
Abrahamic - Genesis 12, 15. A Land, A Posterity, a Future Blessing
Sinaitic - Exodus 19-20.
Davidic - 1 Chron. 17. an eternal house, throne and kingdom.
The Sinaitic Covenant failed because it was dependent upon the flesh (human effort), to keep it. The other Covenants were based upon the promise of God.
