God's word to minister to us and when I would encourage you to turn to the the second chapter in 1st Peter, and I'm titled this message.
The not so easy of something easy to understand and I'm tired of it that way.
Because really, we could read today's passage and it's kind of a, well, duh, Passage But the actual living it out, working it out in our life.
Is not so easy.
Some of you may have read the passage already, one of the nice things about preaching expository Lee, you know what the pastor is going to be preaching on its great except for holidays, but you know Easter, guess what?
I'm going to be preaching on Jesus Christ risen.
I'm so if you have an idea and I appreciate that, you knew what was coming and you still showed up this morning, this is encouraging to your pastor, some of your going, man.
I really should have read a head home.
And what are we getting into so far in in Peter?
We have looked at some of the foundational aspects of our faith.
We've looked at the foundation of our salvation.
I got to say, it's been exciting to read through this and study through this, and look at it.
And, and now, as we move forward in in Peter, we're going to look at how that is practically applied in your life and mine.
I love practical application because it really makes sense to the day-to-day things that you and I go through.
But I'll be honest, sometimes the practical application of God's word is difficult.
How wonderful it is as we've looked at Peter to look at the power of the Salvation that you and I get to get to participate in.
That's a wonderful encouraging thing and then to look and see how God has a plan and a purpose for this salvation that we've entered into.
Those things, as we read it, we just feel good.
It it strengthens and encourages us, does it?
Not and then Peter goes and he challenges us to, to live out this hope.
And we read that and we see that as as living stones, and we're like, yes I'm going to live out this hope that that God is giving me.
And we are enthused until we come to 2:13.
And we will find that verse after verse all the way to really 4:11.
We are given some very challenging practical ways to live out this hope.
I love practical.
Challenging is another thing.
And we're going to be looking at that in applying these things are lines as we look today.
Our passage.
It's it's going to we're going to look at the point of the passage and basically that the point is God's will.
I love that.
And then we're going to look at the Practical basically living it out.
What am I supposed to do with this?
This point that Peter's making,
And then, sorry guys.
In the back you're going to have to control the slides.
It's not.
There it is.
Good.
I'm not sure how to keep that slide up there.
There it is.
Okay.
Technology sometimes right.
But we are going to look at the point.
Where did I look at the practice of the living it out?
And then we're going to look at the purpose.
The, why?
And the how
And I believe the purpose is going to solidify for each one of us just those things.
but as we consider those things, I want to

Isn't it great?
