We conclude our series on the Lord's prayer thinking about the doxology at the end of the prayer, included in many of the later manuscripts. Are these the words of Jesus? If not, how did they get there? And should we include them when we pray?
We consider church history, and the transmission of scripture, and the way these words became our standard way to conclude this prayer, and the scriptures upon which they are based.
