Welcome and Opening Story

Last week Pastor Craig kicked us off on this new series called Joyride, this series we are going to spend some time downloading the tunes of the bible aka the Psalms .
Theres nothing like a road trip. I love taking road trips, the open road and new places are so much fun. For me in my mind driving to the location means I have earned the time off. My wife on the other hand is not a fan of riding in a car. There is not a time that goes by where so does not say if only I could fly everywhere or teleport. Now this is not just a dislike. She gets pretty sick, like violently ill when we go on trips. I didn't realize just how bad this was until our honeymoon.
The Twists and Turns of St Lucia Story
Its funny but as amazing as that Honeymoon was the start of it could not have been any worse. And I think a lot of us feel that way about lives right now. We want the scenery but none of the switchbacks. But thats just not how God designed us or this world. We have to start embracing the Kingdom Perspective.
That perspectives not easy I along with everybody everywhere struggle to stop and put things into perspective through Gods design. This perspective means we have to be willing to change the playlist thats been blasting on repeat ever since we were hurt by someone. To skip the songs of hurt, shame, denial, and self doubt. When can ever start talking about Bruno…wait for laugh. In all seriousness we should want to change our perspective. Psalm 100 gives us 4 perfect examples of how we can start to change the perspective and start enjoying the ride.

Point #1: Shout it Out

Psalm 100:1 ESV
1 Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
The first perspective shift has to be view on a joyful noise. Over the past decade I have been DJing and through that time I have learned I am not a fan of karaoke events. I have noticed that the courage required usually is found in the bottom of a glass maybe ??!
And for a lot of you music and more then once I have been known to grace the stage of many a karaokes…but the one thing I have noticed from years
Pull Examples from Skip and Dj Story about the song Shout
I am a big fan of music and one of the

Point #2: Serve with a Smile

Psalm 100:2 ESV
2 Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!
God does not want fans He wants followers
This is tough because we think that we have
