1. Expanded vision is another way that we can ‘Grow in what God has given me.’

Proverbs 23:7 NKJV
7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.
Luke 1:37 NKJV
37 For with God nothing will be impossible.”
Judges 6:12 NKJV
12 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”
We are Limited by our sight.
We have a sight.
I have to realize that God’s design is greater than my reality.
it’s God’s Testimony. Not mine, God will work it.
God sees us for who he made.

2. Jabez asked God to expand his Territory

1 Chronicles 4:10 NKJV
10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.
There are many ways to grow.
a person can grow wide, but if I don’t have any depth you will fall over.
I’m praying to go deeper,.
I am aware of where I come from. I am a wear of my weaknesses.
I want to get better at the skills needed to do what I do.
I want to own my mistakes not out of shame but rather in an attempt to make sure the failures of my past don’t become a miss step for my future.

3. I need to take a pastoral detour here and visit for a moment.

the fist question i want to ask you is; who is your provider?
of course, most people will shout God! in their spirit if not out of there mouth.
that leads me to my next question, how can we tell?
the reason that I ask is not to be a super spiritual jerk, ( I hate those) but rather to give us a moment to meditate on the motivation for our work.
here is a fun fact for you:
People don’t live to work, they work to live.
working to live is true for most of us.
an interesting thing is that we often get busy with the mundane activities in life and become passive participants in our own life.
this often leads to depression and blaming outside people for internal problems:
We blame our spouses for not being supportive, when in fact we may have never articulated our hopes and dreams.
I encourage you to write your hopes and dreams down.
share them with people. (only your closest real friends and family who will pull for you and pray for you.
Please Remember that for most of us to properly walk in what God is calling you too real significant personal change. we have to grow into our call. as we grow it means change. often times changes is hard, Just because change is hard does not mean that it is impossible.
not only can you achieve the change necessary to walk in your growth, it is God’s will for you. you may be afraid but its what God has called to you.
since God is my provider then what I do is not as important as how I do it.
Ecclesiastes 9:10 NKJV
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.
Proverbs 18:16 NKJV
16 A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men.
Psalm 50:10–11 NKJV
10 For every beast of the forest is Mine, And the cattle on a thousand hills. 11 I know all the birds of the mountains, And the wild beasts of the field are Mine.

We are starting where we are, then we are moving on up.
