Jesus reveals his glory to his disciples so that they can "listen to him" about his journey toward the cross where he will die for the sins of the world and give new life through his resurrection. Jesus also gives us glimpses of his glory so that we can draw near to him as Savior and Lord, which we seek to do during the upcoming season of Lent.
