The Acts

They were asking about Jesus fulfilling the Old Testament prophesy that said that the Messiah would establish God’s Kingdom among His chosen people.
and Jesus was like, “yeah, we don’t talk about times.... but look over here, see..........
That was not what Jesus was doing.
He answered the question by changing the way they understood God’s Kingdom.
It was a paradigm shift.
They thought a Kingdom was territorial in nature.
He showed them that The Kingdom of God is at its core, spiritual in nature.
What is a Kingdom?
It is a state or region that is ruled over by the power and authority of a King or Queen.
You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.
They thought the Kingdom was just in Isreal.
He showed them that the Kingdom of God is international in its membership.
They thought the Kingdom of God would come suddenly.
He showed them 1.
Not be concerned with the timeline.
It is not for you to know....
And 2. that it would come on gradually.
even to the remotest part of the earth.

It changes everything.
