But the Lord is the true God; he is the living God and the everlasting King. At his wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure his indignation.
The Lord is the true God—as opposed to all the false gods. He is the living God—as opposed to the dead, lifeless gods. He is the everlasting King, as opposed to the rival powers and principalities that are created things. He is ANGRY.
