Psalm 91
God as a Refuge
We live in a world where we truly do need safety.
No matter how great the danger, our refuge is greater.
The shadow of the Almighty engulfs anything that would try to stand against Him.
Trust
The existence of a refuge doesn’t help anyone who doesn’t use it.
We must trust God alone and truly.
As we trust in Him, we live without fear and in satisfaction.
Two Dangers
So, I can just go and do what I want?
The safety God provides is for those who dwell with Him (vs1).
But I trusted and this happened…
Whatever happened, happened in the midst of His protection, not because it was absent.
