Carmody, father a great and glorious God, who is above on and overall how we thank you. That we can come and lay the burdens of life before you and trust, that you will guide them in the very best way for you. A promise that in your word and we trust in you, Lord. We we do pray for your Mighty hand on our lives and our community. Father of one of the great burdens of the life, of one who has truly trusted in, you is the lives of those who have not chosen that Avenue and we pray that you would help us to be faithful and true servants for you in a community that has that desperate need of knowing Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior. And so father, we do pray for your guidance and help in Being attentive to the gospel story that we carry with us. We do pray for the physical needs that are out there and we think of Joanne and I surely and others who are struggling with this covid. That is struck us now and we pray that your healing hand would be placed upon their bodies and their lives and restoration be there. We also want to remember the needs of each person as the unspoken request or passed over to you. I know that you hear and know each of them and will guide in them. So father, we pray for your answers to be given in each of those needs that are mentioned. Be with us as we continue worshipping you now with song and with prayer. And with your word, may you bless us, richly and may we grow in you, as we continue on in Jesus name? Amen.

So we're looking to get though the work of God. And we're actually looking at God's work, and God's work has never changed. It's always been the same since the creation of the world and bringing mankind to this earth. His work is the same for his desire is that you and I be United with him for all eternity. And it's his desire for each and every person on the face of the Earth that have that blessing in benefit and that's the work he is involved. It's like any leader. If you're a leader of a sporting team or a company or even a home, your desire is to let the people that are following, you understand what you want from their lives. So that the truth goes out. From that information. And for each of us who are part of God's true far, desire, ought to be to understand and know exactly what God wants from our lives and then be committed to carrying that out in what we do, you know, is Paul wrote Philippians chapter 3. He said I want to know Christ and I want to know the power of the Resurrection in and suffering with him and I press on toward that amazing products and that should be each of our, our cry as we go forward. God has made his desire and his will evident to everyone if we go to Romans chapter 1 E. He talks about his Great love for us and his desire for our righteousness. And, and we gained that, when we put our faith in him, but he carries on Lee says, I made it clear. I made it known to the world in the world has no excuse. He says, in the Romans chapter 1 verse 19, since what may be known about God is plain to them because God made it plain to them, is he God has made clear what his desire is. And so there is nobody on the face of the Earth. It can say, well, I just didn't know. Because God said, I made it plain to you. How can you not know when you walk out and you look at the beauty of my creation, when you look up at the sky at night and even during the day, if you feel the warmth of that sunshine, you ought to be thinking. God has blessed me because he's shown me who he is and what his desire and will. And so we're going to take a look at this last little section of Psalm 18, how we've been working through it. We've taken a look at our cry to God and He is wonderful. A desire to answer that cry and then his why he did it. And today we're going to take a look at his will that reaches out and touches each person on the face of the Earth? What do they believe or don't believe his desire? Is that they will delete and they will follow his lead. In his desire and it begins with understanding that he is the Mighty God, the Living God, the only God on the Earth. So, I'm 18, 31 for who is God besides the Lord and who is The Rock, except our God? You know, we need to recognize the truth of God's desire for each of our lawn. And then when we find that truth and we see it, his call is that we actually live it out in our lives. We take responsibility for his heart and desire for each of us that we draw closer to him and get to know him more and more with each and every day, is this Irish for us and we need to recognize, He Loves Us deeply and he wants our hearts. And it begins with understanding that. He's the choice. He's the one choice that we have that is wise in our lives. He has expressed that through all that he's done but he made sure that the people of Israel understood and do this as he tells them over and over again, I am the only got Deuteronomy 64. He says Hear o Israel. The Lord Our God. The Lord is one and he says that each of us hear you Believers in. Jesus Christ. I'm the only one. I am the only way, I am the life that I desire. For you. And if you stand upon the rock that I am, I am your rock in this life that you will be blessed. God wants to bless you. And that's his desire in his, will his work. There's no other God and sometimes we struggle with giving our lives over to different things that we think are important in everything. But if God is not included in that, then it's worthy of true. Isaiah speaks about this and chapter 44 of his book and he talks about God and, and his relationship and and that of Idols that we choose to lay before us and follow their lead. Sometimes it's our very selves that we follow, we think we know best and God says, no, that's wrong. First six of chapter 44 of Isaiah says, this is what? The Lord says Israel's King and Redeemer. The Lord Almighty. I am the first and I am the law apart from me. There is no God. You know when we come to the realization that God is the only option. It makes life a lot easier. When we choose to find other options to give her a Legions to that's when we get into trouble. When God is our one allegiance that we find Hope and truth and other end. And it also goes on to say that if we choose other pads, if we think that we've chosen the right path, the situation, but God is in a part of it, you know, what? He calls us fools. Says we're fools. If we choose that path. Continuing on, in Isaiah 44, verse 9. It says all who make Idols are nothing in the things. They treasure are worthless. Those who would speak up for them are blind. They are ignorant to their own shame. Imagine that if you think, if you have something that is special that you want to follow and yet, it doesn't have got involved in it. It's shameful. It's disgusting and it's foolish foolish path. That we choose to go alone. God wants us to be wise and diligent in our willingness to follow him and he wants us to be led by his mighty hand. If we stand on his Rock, We have all the hope that we could possibly have in this world. It's a wise path. Jesus was talking about it in The Sermon on the Mount, and right towards the end of the sermon. 7:24. He's talking about building our lives and where it stands firm and solid and we do have those struggles and one is built on Sand. It just sits and moves away. And the other is The Rock. And he says therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. A firm foundation building our lives on the Firm Foundation of the Living. God is the wise thing to do. If the smart thing that each of us can do because when we choose to build it on anything else in the end. It's just if things Sans and it doesn't

For this line for eternity, the medicine that, you know, we cry out for people for eternity and part of it isn't helping them. See God's plan for their lot. God loves you in person on the face of the Earth enough. To die for them. And so if he loves you enough to die for you. He has a special arrangement for your life and it, but it only happens as we choose to build that life on him and the standard he gives us Continuing on in the song, 18 verses 32 to 34. It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. It's a perfect way. He makes my feet like that of a deer. He causes me to stand on the heights. He trains my hand for battle. My arms can bend a bow a bronx. Think about bending a metal boat. That's pretty tough. But you know, that's that strength are our path of blessing is provided by God. It's the perfect pathway for each and every one of us to take, you know, we can choose a pathway for ourselves. But again, it is foolish. It is worthless in and of ourselves and God tells us to set aside that path way that he will choose. And we make wise decisions, right? Decisions for our Lots, the blessing in it, is in our relationship with him and our understanding that he is truly the guide for a lot. Paul wrote about it in Romans chapter 12, talking about what we place as Honorable in our lives. And he says these words do not conform to the pattern of the world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, then you will be able to test and approve. What God's will is his good pleasing and perfect will God has a perfect will for your life that God says I want to make your life perfect. But then you have a choice, you know, it's like a coach that says you need to do this and this to be more effective in what you do and you say and I can fend for myself and do, okay? And after you lost your will and your ability to win events, the realize what maybe the coach was right? Well God is the same way. He's right about what he wants. He has a perfect will for your life and for my life, but my choice has to be to take part in his will for my life. I need to take him as being the one, who guides my very life, and my existence and the. So he asked us to not conform to the world with the world desires. All those things that seem to make mankind elevated. God wants us to elevate him and in. So doing we ourselves become elevated, particularly in the eyes of the Living, God and blessings on ourselves as we give over to him. And he becomes our strengths are stability. All those things that the guide us and particularly our wisdom. Our strength is found in the Living. God, if we go to Hebrews chapter 11, remember, it's the faith chapter of the Bible and it talks about old people from the Old Testament, who strove to please the Living God in the things that they did, and they faced struggles in turmoil and all of those things. But God's rich and Powerful blessing was on each of their life. And they found success because they trusted in God and not in themselves or the world around them. In verse 34 says, they quench the fury of flames in escape, the edge of the sword, whose weakness was turned to strength and it became powerful in battle and route. Foreign enemies kind of reminds you of Paul, you know, and he's describing his life and 2nd Corinthians to the Corinthian people and he's saying, you know, I have this illness that I wanted God to take away from me. And God said, my strength is found in your weakness. And he said okay if John strength is found my weakness, then I don't care if I'm weak because if he's powerful then I'm going the right direction. I'm going the right direction. So our strength is found in our trust in him. In each and every day, he also is the one who brings stability to our lives. We think about the goats climb those rocks and you see them on the side of a Rocky Mountain and you don't see any place where they can stand and yet, they move so easily across those Rocky pass. Why? Well Gods, give them the ability to stand firm and that's the way we can walk Our Lives, though. It seems like there's no pathway. God gives the path, its stability, Deuteronomy, 31, 11 and 12 and hovers over its young. This spreads his wings to catch them and carries them Aloft the Lord alone. Let in no foreign God was with him. Other words as we trust in God, it doesn't matter what the hazard is for our lives that we Face. We Face everything in the power and the strength of the Living God and remember he's the Creator. He brought everything in existence anything you face. He is able to overcome. It's part of our trust this part of our willingness to say, okay Lord. I will trust you for these moments. I will allow you to take me a head and that's wisdom. When we choose to trust in God, even when the pathway seems impossible, that's wisdom. And we grow in that we grow in our understanding Proverbs 26. It begins with talking about wisdom and trust in God and that's makes our wisdom growing. It says in 26 for the Lord gives wisdom from his mouth, comes knowledge and understanding and on that should be the great Cry of our hearts. Lord everyday. I want to grow in my knowledge of you. I want to grow in my understanding of you. So help me each step of the way. And sometimes God will bring difficult things into our lives. Not far for us, but to help us grow in that wisdom and understanding that the knowledge that he wants to put into our lives. But it comes with our willingness to say. Okay, Lord. My life is yours today, you take it and you leave me. Give me wisdom in each and every step that I take. Because that's his desire. That's his will that you and God? Become closer and closer with each day. He wants to have that relationship with you and with me, and when we yield ourselves into his hands, with each day, we gain and that relationship, and we grow in our understanding and knowledge of him. And he wants to buy this in this. He doesn't leave us alone. Remember that when you ask Jesus Christ to be your lord and savior, a great moment occurred in your life, to change. You completely for all eternity, took a hold of your life. He came into you and he lives with you and he's there to guide you in all that you do. But it comes with our willingness to trust me out. Psalm 18:35 26. Finishing it off. Here. You make your saving help. You make your saving help my shield and your right hand. Sustains me, you helped your help has made me great you provide a broad path for my feet. So that my ankles is not give way other words. God wants to guide us in each and every step we take But Justice, anybody who is following a leader and wants to find Success Through what the leader is trying to teach them, they will be obedient to that late again. So God is wanting you and I to follow his lead to allow him to God. Each of our steps as we go along. If Isaiah 58:11, it says the Lord will guide. You always. Isn't it wonderful, the Lord will guide you always? He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose Waters never fail. God wants to guide you. God wants to take you in his arms and Lead You In the paths of righteousness and Holiness to help you build in your live. The character that he wants to give you because it's his character and he wants to pass on the very best to you. And sometimes we want to nibble at other things that don't help us. Remember Adam and Eve in the garden. God said, okay, and I want to bless you and bless your lives for all eternity. So all that you have to do is do whatever. I tell you to do and I love you to do just about anything. You want to do except one thing. You can't eat the fruit and sometimes you and I just want to eat that fruit and bring shame to our lot. But that's not God's will is well as to allow you to participate in what he wants to give you. He is our strength and our protection, you know, we're in a battle in this life. We have an evil one who desires to take, hold of your life and bring you down to make you falter and fail in this life or tickly in your walking with the Living God. He doesn't want you to have a relationship with God and he will do whatever he can to take away that relationship. But that's the real battle you and I have and we have the energy to fight that battle as we trust in God. John 17:15 is Jesus talking with the Living God? Before he goes to the cross member we see the Garden of Gethsemane and most of them say went off The Fray. Well, yeah. Yeah. John chapter 17 gives us the words of his prayer. In his first desire. Is that his relationship with the Living. God be powerful. And mighty, he prays for the disciples that God will guide and protect them. Any praise for you and for me as future Believers in Christ that we will stand firm in verse 15. He says my prayer is not that you take them out of the world, but did you protect them from the evil one? Who's the evil one? Is the one that wants to take you away from that relationship with the Living God. And sometimes we give over to that evil one. And we allow him to guide and control Our Lives rather than the Living God. That's God's desire is to keep you from that evil one. So part of your prayer ought to be to ask God to protect you protect you from the evil one who desires to take away that relationship. He is our provision in all things. Remember God wants to give you good things in your life, good things. Things to draw you closer to him. That's his desire. That's his will. and sometimes we battle that, but John says you provide a way for us, 1st Corinthians, 10:13, except and God is faithful. He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will provide a way out so that you can do in the drawer. It God wants you to be able to endure the battles of life. When you trust in him?

That's his will, that's his desire. And that's what he continues to do. Since the creation of the world, with every generation. He has sought to help them understand and know him and draw closer to him. It's his will.

But we have to participate in that will. We have to move forward and when we do we gain the peace that overcomes anything in this world because we've trusted in the Living God. And that's his desire as well. I'm 31 8, says you have not given me into the hands of the enemy, but if set my feet in a spacious place, That's spacious Place revolves around our willingness, in there, a desire to trust in the Living God. And when we do trust in God, he gives us the peace. That truly helps us overcome anything in this world because we know that God's in there for our lives. His desire is to give goodness to us in all that we do. So I'm thinking about God's will for a lot of so attached to each and everyone of us and how we examine lie. You and I need to examine it from God's point of view and his desire because his desire is a deep and Powerful relationship with you. With you think about that he wants that relationship to build and grow. That's his. Will he created you for that purpose? And his desire is that you and I have an eternity. The growing that wisdom and understanding and knowledge of him. But it begins with our trusting him in this life and allowing him to take control of everything in our Lots. We do that by yielding into His Hands Day by Day Moment by moment. That's what it means to continue in prayer everyday. Because that prayer is just simply a relationship with the Living. God trusting him, the guy. All those circumstances that we face. So God will really ought to be our will our desire. Is that relationship with the Living God that truly makes our lives valuable in every way? As we trust me, and that's my prayer for you. I think about him, pray for each and everyone of You by name every week and part of that prayer is that you come to grow in his knowledge in his understanding. And I will continue to pray that for as long as God gives me the strength. Because I want you to know him more and more with each and every day. Let's pray. Our gracious. Father. We thank you for really giving us a clearer picture of who you are and what you desire from. Each of Our Lives. Father. May this be a desire for each of us to draw closer to you, to help you become the power and the strength of Our Lives. Because in so doing we actually become more powerful and strong and how we walk this life. To father and pray for your touch on each person. Here. May they understand and know you more deeply with each and every passing day. We ask this in the name of our Lord, Our Savior who loves us so deeply. He gave everything for us. Jesus Christ, Our Savior. Amen. Let's dance clothes.
