Vision - So much division in our world… but that we would be united with one voice praising the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus Christ… baby bottles… youth group…Wed men’s group

You wouldn't think an ad in Craigslist would make headline news or even News That Illustrates. But this ad comes from a father who is being dubbed "Father of the Year." Here's the story. A father put his son's 1998 Ford Explorer up for sale with the following ad: "I have my son's truck up for sale that I bought for him as his first car, he thinks it's cool to drive around with his friends smokin' dope and acting all thug and especially not showing me and my wife the respect we deserve."
When Esquire magazine reached out to Allan Gieger to hear more about his unique parenting style, he replied, "There's not a book that you can read that will tell you how to raise your children … But just the way I was raised by my father, teaching me how to live right, let them know when you're upset, but be there for them when they're trying to do better."

According to the riches of His glory
You may be strengthened with power through the Spirit
So that Christ may dwell in your hearts
(you are rooted and grounded in love)
So that you may have strength to comprehend the vastness of the love of Christ
So that you may be filled with all the fullness of God
Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than we ask or think
according to the power at work in us
to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever

YOU are loved

This new home is a place where we dwell with Christ in the Father’s love
2 Corinthians 13:14 ESV
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
What things does Satan use to try to convince you God doesn’t love you?
Not therapeutic (an antiseptic home)
Ignoring, Hell
Things don’t go according to plan
People don’t show you love (We don’t talk about Bruno)
Life is suffering…therefore take responsibility for yourself?
Romans 8:38–39 ESV
38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
What is success in the church? So much the opposite of shame...
You are chosen, adopted, redeemed, in the know, given inheritance, guaranteed

You need to grasp how great is that LOVE

filled with the fullness of God.... God is recreating a new creation. He is filling that creation with things that reflect His beauty and love. We as images of God reflect His love when we know His love and share His love.
Not “we’re in trouble, we are broken, I’m just going to take care of me”
We grasp it together by loving each other
Jews loving Gentiles, Gentiles loving Jews
Not just who you like to hang out with...
We wait for others to love us… you cannot wait for it. Watch for conditional love on your part. Watch for expectation returns.

To God be the glory for His multi-generational love

We blame our parents. We blame our kids. We blame others and live in fear of failure and shame. Our success is not in ourselves but in God’s love for us and it exceeds everything.
From God’s love not to gain God’s love nor to show God’s love
His power to raise the dead and create the new heavens and new earth… How can God turn the ashes of my life into something great?
He does more than we can imagine
The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell. It goes beyond the highest star and reaches to the lowest hell. The guilty pair bowed down with care God gave His Son to win. His erring child he reconciled and pardoned from his sin. O love of God, how rich and pure, how measureless and strong, it shall forevermore endure the saints and angels song.
Could we with ink the ocean fill and were the stars of parchment made, were every stalk on earth a quill and every man a scribe by trade. to write the love of God above would drain the ocean dry nor could the scroll contain the whole if stretched from sky to sky.
How can you develop a sense of God’s love for you? Be in the Word...
How can you grasp that with others? Community Groups, Core Groups
